What's the current state of TATW? (i've been away for quite a while)

How come we haven't had any new updates or patches since 3.2 patch? Has the mod died or has the developers gone? Still love the mod through.

Look for submods man, Ngugi and crew are working hard on DCI Last Alliance which may peak your interest.

So what does all that mean? that it's on hold?

As long as he has his job yes, as far as we know, and presumably due to other considerations; either way a full halt is a full halt, and we do not know if he'll return in a year or ten or ever.

Perillicious Compilation Pack (PCP) ~ Patch 4 Released ~ TATW Re-Imagined ~ 31 Factions + 32 Rebel Factions ~ MAXED Buildings/Units/Regions ~ Interact with ALL the indigenous peoples of Middle-Earth... and then terminate them with extreme prejudice.

Or for those that would rather just add minor tweaks to Third Age the sub mods section can certainly fill the bill...

I say TATW is still in development, but it's just in the way of releasing submods. They all add great stuff to TATW in the way they would like to see TATW. Me myself i prefer DaC, since it's got a completely new campaign map created especially to work with the mod (although other submods use it too, it doesn't work as well in those). Also, Leo.Civil.Eufs has done the most standing out job on TATW, with so many more custom settlements and stuff, he mainly made me feel that TATW will not die anytime soon!

The nearest to the development of Vanilla TATW would be http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...patch-RELEASED which is technically a submod and in practise an unofficial TATW 3.3.
