hi all,
I was in the middle of destroying Rohan as Isenguard when out of nowhere 2 stacks appear with a "king Thengel", I killed theodin before that and Rohan had 2-3 towns left, dont know if i killed all the family or not but why would theodin's father show up after he died?
They wouldve taken all their lands back and I wouldve started back from 0 cause I had no forces left, but I was lucky both generals left the army and i killed them off along with the faction.
It's a script, "Hero" something, that adds famous characters (Like Aragorn or Bard) to the faction when and if they are in trouble. Even though if they are dead.
Thats just mean , wouldve lost that game. or atleast went on for much much longer.
Lol exacly the make happened to me a couple of days ago. (in the MOS submod, though) I had taken all of rohan except for one province, and suddenly I saw two full stacks of Rohan near aldburg, of which one was controlled by thengel. He could have taken back a lot of land, but forunately the AI decided it would be a better idea to use their amies to camp in their last settlement They even agreed to become my vassal after that
I was also wondering why I hadn't seen Thengel before, even though I killed off 90% of Rohan. I'd say the stack are spawned as part of some "last stand" script for Rohan. But I have no clue why Thengel was suddenly there.
EDIT: Oh the answer has already been given
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I basically wouldve been fighting for my life, haha (MOS here too).
Hello fellas,i am sorry for posting this here but didnt know where to post it:/
So my question is if its possible to have 2 different submodes in a single Medieval total war install? in my example i am already playing Third age and i am higly interested in the Westeros TW mode and i really dont want to uninstall Third age
Yes, its possible to have multiple mods installed at the same time. Each has its own mod folder and doesn't have any effect on the others.
Or if you want to play it safe you can copy your Med 2 folder and install the mod in the copied folder just in case something goes wrong.
Hey guys, I'm experiencing a lack of ships for the silvan elves is this normal ?
As in no ships at all?
What turn are you on? Do you use any submods?

Are you on a coastal region? You can't build ships on a large part of the Anduin or Sea of Rhun if that's what you're trying to do.
I meant ships on the Anduin and Sea of Rhun as i don't own a coastal region yet, I should have mentioned it and thanks for the answers

What makes the "Fierce in Battle"-trait? It's pretty annoying that Aragorn or Glorfindel gets it if I just do a normal battle.
So if you have no BattleChivalry, your General kills more than 12 enemies (Note: this does mean your general not his unit, but it's still easy to do chasing routers), and he loses more than 30% of his hitpoints... you will become Fierce In Battle. Further levels are easier to get after you have the first one.Code:Trigger Battle_Earning_Berserker WhenToTest PostBattle Condition GeneralHPLostRatioinBattle > 0.3 and GeneralNumKillsInBattle > 12 and Trait Berserker < 1 and Trait BattleChivalry < 1 Affects Berserker 1 Chance 100
Also worth knowing: every battle you fight in which your general does not fight, gives a 33% chance of losing a point in Berserker. (Fierce In Battle is level 1, with one point, so every battle you fight where your general does not fight, you have a 1/3 chance to lose the trait).

Thanks for quick reply, Incomitatus.
Wow, I did not know that Generals kill that many enemies.
