Ya i'm kinda with mrenglishrules here, why not just take out shieldwall entirely instead of changing it to wedge? I'd love to hear other people's perspectives on this one.
I was wondering how compatible sharp mod is with BACAI? I know you've been adding more and more ai stuff recently so will there be more issues in the future? If there are, are you moving towards your...
Just wanted to let anyone who's looking for a smoother gameplay experience know that a freesync monitor with its low frame rate compensation feature is really great when combined with a frame limiter...
Apparently he changed formations so you can't use shieldwall to defend in sieges since it gave the player an edge over the ai since they didnt know how to use it themselves. Going to try it out and...
Okay that makes more sense, I think the most likely one that's conflicting is tuskmod since he's started doing ai stuff as well. I'll try changing the load order. Thanks for your help!
I'm using the 4.2D and my campaign setting is on hard and battle setting is on normal because I don't like ai getting cheats in battle. Hope that helps.
Wait so you're saying that the difficulty changes the recruitment level? I'm not sure I understand that decision completely from a design perspective. And also just to clarify since I'm on hard...
Hey I've noticed that when I enable your mod with a bunch of other ones, all of a sudden I can only recruit one unit per turn. I'm guess its a conflict with tuskmod or something. Do you know what...
Haha yeah maybe Walrus should be promoting this part of the mod a bit more, it seems like a really interesting version and I hadn't heard of it until a couple days ago. I like a lot of the ideas...
I tried it out for a few battles and found the battle speed might be a bit high? For some reason it feels like the original tuskmod is a bit slower but maybe thats just me. Good mod so far!
Edit:...
Ya its a good mechanic. Using it in my Dane campaign as well. Would make vikings factions in main campaign pretty fun. Wish boats weren't so expensive to maintain though
Haha sorry my girlfriends last name is sharpe guess I'm used to typing it with an e. xP thanks for getting back to me so quick
Haven't given your mod a try yet sharpe, but id love to give some feedback. Think I could get it to play nice with tuskmod with some tinkering?
There's a pretty good book on Boudica (same title) it gives a really nice quick summary of the Roman Empire as well. Ended up naming my cat Boudica after reading it xP
Who cares about 64 bit or 32 bit, they just confirmed that warhammer is dx 12 compatible :D
What were the notable issues you were currently working on?
Been using your 1.7 Alpha for a Saxon campaign for about 40 turns now. Thank's for ruining Radious Mod for me xP Keep up the good work!
Not saying your biased, but I think that at this point in time amd has better cheap cards while nvidia has mid-high end cards locked up. I'm sure that will change again in the future but right now a...
Glad to see you're still working hard at this mod walrus, keep up the stellar work. Congrats on the award you deserve it!
He said max performance not max quality lol.
No matter what gpu you get you'll be disappointed with the performance unfortunately. Here's one that fits your price range though.

I think your best bet are probably radious and tuskmod, a lot of the other ones aren't being updated anymore unfortunately.
No worries mate, i enjoyed making the thread and was totally cool with being reminded of it xP Thanks for showing your interest.
Hey guys haven't been on the attila forums in a while, glad that this thread is still generating interest. :) I did consider doing videos and more in-depth testing but after the first few months of...
The gates issue was probably a workaround from rome 2 where if you decided to chase the enemy out of your settlement they would get stuck in the settlement and mill around endlessly. But now that we...
Small incremental alterations. Sounds a bit like every other game series that has become an annualized release. (Warhammer being basically just a reskin) with small alterations.
I agree with the last post completely. I am nowhere bear ad immersed with the TW games as I am after finishing a biography on the lives of cleopatra or boudica, or sitting in my medieval/classical...
You most likely don't need an upgrade, it's just the game's  optimization. What is your processor? Getting a new gpu will help framer ates until you zoom in close to the action then you'll see...
Did you verify cache? Uninstall and reinstall the game?
Ya i refuse to believe that there are two separate teams, it would literally make no sense to not use someone's experience and talents in a subsequent game. At the very most there are a few new...
I'm not sure if salty is the correct word when he is completely justified in his statement. Attila did not sell as well as they hoped, so they don't see the need to continental to support it other...
I dunno I think there's a decent amount of improvement between battlefield games, aside from 4 to hardline, but everyone knew that one was a cash grab.
Why does it always have to be way to hard or...
There will be probably one maybe two more DLCs coming out. When that happens they'll release some small bug fixes that noone cares about and call it a patch. If you're waiting for a big patch to...
Even with the strongest machine out there you're going to struggle to get over 30 fps when zoomed in. Tbh it will be probably another 2 years before we can get close to 60 fps
I'm tired of people saying they don't have performance issues. What you mean to say is that you don't have issues with the performance. It is completely impossible that you don't lose fps when zoomed...
I just explained the difference in my last post lol. Its not basically the same thing as now, there they had an actual number that you could see going up that actually represented the total number of...
Ya anna gein is right here, although in medieval 2 recruiting units doesnt reduce your population (just tried it), but the population does go up each turn, and is an actual value such as 3953. So for...
Um its a magical number because what does that number have to do with population. 1 2 3 4 5, is that in hundreds thousands, millions, billions? In the earlier games there was an actual population...
Ok so it's not invisible, it's a magical bar that goes across the screen. I stand corrected
