    Default Is there a kind of update for Attila?

    I opened STEAM and i saw something downloading as update for Attila.
    Anyone has a clue what may be?
    TGC in order to continue its development seak one or more desicated scripters to put our campaign scripts mess to an order plus to create new events and create the finall missing factions recruitment system. In return TGC will give permision to those that will help to use its material stepe by step. The result will be a fully released TGC plus many mods that will benefit TGC's material.
    Despite the mod is dead does not mean that anyone can use its material
    read this to avoid misunderstandings.

    IWTE tool master and world txt one like this, needed inorder to release TGC 1.0 official to help TWC to survive.
    Adding MARKA HORSES in your mod and create new varietions of them. Tutorial RESTORED.

    Thanks. But new update stuck in 1% of "completion of installation" after downloaded the update by 100%
    In such case a restart of STEAM required.

    • Graphical distortions will no longer appear in the lighting effect which displays when settlements, armies, navies or agents are selected on the Campaign map.



    Ironically the total opposite has happened for me and they're now once again back. Drivers are up to date and I had gotten rid of them after changing my graphics options but apparently this update has changed that for me.

    Also here's something the next update needs; STOP OPENING CITY GATES WHEN FLEEING MEN/ANIMALS ARE RUNNING AT IT. Honestly this has happened too many times to count. The enemy attacks with ladders, I defeat them, the men rout and some of them head for the gate - the gate which is totally under my control. And what happens? It swings open. For a group of men. Or even a riderless horse from my own cavalry. I understand that the way gates operate at the moment could be considered "magically swinging open" but at least the idea makes sense (you control the gate, it opens to allow your men to pass). Gates opening because routing enemies or riderless horses are approaching is absolutely ludicrous.

    The gates issue was probably a workaround from rome 2 where if you decided to chase the enemy out of your settlement they would get stuck in the settlement and mill around endlessly. But now that we can end it during routing stage it makes no sense. Def a big immersion killer though.
