You would also need models and textures and probably voices too.

Copy/pasting vanilla M2TW's descr_strat would only cause troubles, and it wouldn't even be playable. Also the family trees are built in descr_strat
I think he meant copy/paste just the princess stuff...
I am fairly unskilled, but not that unskilled ;-)
I was thinking of this (for Gondor):
character Siliwen, princess, female, age 25, x 239, y 128

I don't know, what's priority N°1 atm, but I'd really like to see more guilds ingame.
besides those things like thieves-guild etc. there could be more faction/race-specific ones.
I know until now the Gwaith-I-idontknowhat of the silvan elves and the kind of history-guild of the High-elves.
what comes to my mind are:
Elves:
bowmens-guild effect on range, attac, defense of archers
smiths-guild (just HE) effect on armor
planters-guild effect on food-production
healers guild (that is one, I wonder about, if it's possible) slightly refreshment of in combat reduced units
Orcs:
butchers-guild effect on food-production
Harrad:
ship-builders-guild effect on recruitmentcost, defense of ships
navigators-guild effect on distance ships can travell per turn
Men (good)
sword-smiths-guild effect like the one already in M2TW
horsemasters-guild (just Rohan) effect on attac, defense of riders
bowmens-guild (Just Dale) effect like the elven guild
farmers-guild effect on food production
Dwarves:
miners-guild effect on mining-income
mithril-armorer effect on armor
i have a question . how can i change the bear warrior club or wood weapon into a axe . please i like RS2 but the bear warrior with a piece of wood ?!
how can i change for a nice axe ?
You posted that in the wrong thread bro, this is the M2TW mod TATW.

I myself and suspect some people with me consider Harad and Rhun relatively overpowered compared to Mordor. As it stands now, Mordor is usually not the dominating evil power, especially if you play as Mordor yourself. Therefore I would suggest the following, which should also counter Mordor's poor economy at the start.
- Have Rhun and Harad become official vassals of Mordor.
- Have Rhun and Harad pay tribute each turn, which cripples their economy somewhat and boosts Mordor's.
- To counter; As a human player playing either Harad or Rhun, have them able to break the vassalage the moment they:
> keep relations with Mordor to "good" as a minimum.
> Hold at least 14 provinces in total
> Relations with the dark lord must be "good" as a minimum too.
> You must have participated in each invasion so far.
If you send a diplomat to end the agreement, the alliances with both Mordor and the other faction (Harad or Rhun) are broken and relations reduced to terrible, including the relations with the dark lord. War with the bordering evil factions will be inevitable.
As Mordor, these agreements will be broken by script after xxx amount of turns (100?) and/or taking/holding xx amount of provinces (20?).
Factions can't start as vassals, I also don't know wether the relation thing is possible.
Didn't know that; Maybe it is something that needs to be enabled by script after the game has started like in Baron Samedi's submod. I believe there is a script already that influences relationships between factions right away, like the "beacon script". Refusing to help out an ally results in relations reduced to "poor" at least.
My suggestion:
Just a small one but i think that would be kind of interesting.
I think AOR units should gain a boost or something that makes them stronger when they are defending their town (the place where they are available).
Don't know if this is possible but yeah it's just a suggestion.
It'd be possible to give them advantages against special factions tho
hello can someone tell how to change the skin of the sparta promachoi into this
Uhm, this is the Third Age Total War (A medieval II Total War total conversion mod) suggestions thread. Your post is completely unrelated . Try it in the rome mod workshop.
I think the next Third Age should contain some more generals from the films/books like Eomer or the right hand of Faramir with the grey hair (he appears in both The Two Towers and Return of the King, he dies in Return of The king;anyone knows his name?)
The general I mean gets killed in osgiliath by gothmog but i don't know if he has a name haha
The right hand of faramir isn't mentioned in the books. Some random rangers are mentioned, but their names are used for random captains and generals.
Faramirs right hand is Madril [a quite sympatetic character IMHO, wouldn't minded him ingame] is indeed not part of the books.
There instead we are introduced to Damrod and Mablung, two rangers of no known rank or place as advisors.

I would argue again and again against using those damned movies as sources.
Eomer is born only in 2991, so he cannot really be included, Boromir and Faramir should not actually be either.
Mablung and Damrod are obviously trusted quite highly by Faramir. But in the books his force is not really large enough to warrant any other officers. Gondor has many fine Generals that are included already, to add more- however nice having Ingold, et al in the game it will unbalance the game.
