Slavica: Total War!

Greetings! I am Kaszub, a Russian modder. Today I am glad to present you

a new mod for Medieval II: Total War. This mod begins at 700 A.D. and ends at 950 A.D.
As you may guess, mod mod is dedicated to history of Slavs. We have planned a lot of events, factions and units. Unfortunately, the mod is still at a very early stage, and I have not any screenshots. Now we are working at concepts.

P.S. Currently we are planning only Russian translation. And we need any volunteers to translate it into English!
Also, every Russian-speaking comrade is welcome!

I can help you with west Slavs, especially with Polanes and Mazovians-but I think that better will be changing Mazovians into Vistulans, they were more powerfull and larger at this time.

This definitely seems like a good and promising mod.
For the Danube Bulgarians, check the Bulgar preview for BGTW v.3 which also starts in 700 (or our preview for EoR, which goes from 519 to 700). And I can also help with some historical research for them, if you want.
Also, while Arkona is a nice band, I believe it would be somewhat of a copyright problem to use them in the mod, unless you've talked with them and they've given you permission for that.

Yes, Scandinavians will be single faction - Varyags. There are some rebellious settlements in Scandinavian lands too

Not very accurate. Still, one Scandinavian faction is better than none... Will they be playable?

EDIT: Just my two cents.
Judging by that map you are using the total amount of factions possible. But you have Rasca and Caucasian rebels... So I'm judging that their rebel factions (unplayable). If they are, you could include them as one faction freeing up a space or two. Make Scandinavia part of the rebel faction too, leaving you room to include two more factions, which could be maybe Sweden and Estonia...

I've made pretty much the same map you wish to have I mean south and east boarder are exactly the same, while I have slightly more on the west and much more on the north.

I would have some remarks towards your faction list. I think that Livonians were more advanced tribe then Lithuanian in that period. Also I think that some of the Rus tribes should make space for Rasca and maybe Volga-Bulgars. Also it would be nice to have a strong Petcheng invasion in IXc...
