A shadow darkened the entryway as Tu'aga's large form entered the tent. Seeing Odaya, he gave a rare smile and spread his arms wide.

My Wusun, did I not say that it would be so?

Ulzok entered silently.

Odaya noted his entrance with approval

A shadow darkened the entryway as Tu'aga's large form entered the tent. Seeing Odaya, he gave a rare smile and spread his arms wide.

My Wusun, did I not say that it would be so?

Odaya's smile matched Tu'aga's, he clapped the man on the back,

"Indeed you did, my friend, I cannot thank you enough for the support... other than to say that we shall soon have the opportunity to avenge your Grandmother, together."

The small but proud figure of Talorcan marched into the tent, dressed once more in armour. He moved across to Ulzok and nodded quietly in greeting.

Odaya's smile matched Tu'aga's, he clapped the man on the back,

"Indeed you did, my friend, I cannot thank you enough for the support... other than to say that we shall soon have the opportunity to avenge your Grandmother, together."
She will be avenged, and more.

Tu'aga noticed others joining him and the Wusun, so he sought to press his advantage.

Tell me your plans for these people.

Talorcan address Tu'aga.

He will be telling his plans to all of us, not just you, because we are all equals. And the vote of Ulzok and myself saw Odaya elected Tu'aga, don't forget that."

Addressing the Wusun, he states.

"There are many things to discuss, but first you should appoint those who will be your Wuy'attanu.

Tu'aga's smile faded.

Again Talorcan speaks when it was not asked of him... Have you listened to nothing, you old warrior? Now is not the time for war!

Talorcan says in a dry tone.

"Being of noble Juzik blood has given me a sense of entitlement, I admit, but I have the right to speak when I wish. Besides, it is a fault you are prone to yourself Tu'aga, you wouldn't want to be a hypocrite."

Talorcan smiles frostily.

"Tu'aga, th time for war comes when we are ready for war. This is the time to become ready for war. We begin that process by having Wuy'attanu assigned. We continue it by raising supplies and an army, and we complete it by training that army. It is the first step that must be taken in a very long process."

Talorcan half bows in respect to Vandi as he enters.

Tu'aga opened his mouth to retort, but closed it before speaking. Whilst he had no respect for what Talorcan had become, he certainly had respect for the man that Talorcan had been. Tu'aga had once been a hero of the child Tu'aga, with him being told tales of the heroic warrior and his deeds, indeed Tu'aga had wanted to emulate Talorcan at one point. Now, however, Tu'aga had a different and more important path than that. Nevertheless, Talorcan still had some of the knowledge that had helped him in his younger years...

Tu'aga turned back to the Wusun, waiting to see what he would make of Talorcan's words.

Odaya turned to the older warrior,

"You are right Talorcan there are many things to discuss..."

he spoke before turning back to the crowd ignoring the matter of the Wuy'attanu for now, that would come soon.

"I appreciate you all coming, though I had hoped A'alustra would come it seems I was wrong, though perhaps he will show."

Odaya felt concerned yet did not let it show,

"The main issue to address is that of shelter and supplies; Talorcan, you speak of a valley close to here, take two men and scout it out, I want a full report by the morning including available shelter and food sources, if needs be take a few bows and see what you can hunt. We'll need at least temporary sustenance until we can find something a little more permanent."

He turned to Ulzok,

"You are known for your ability to pass undetected, are you not Ulzok? I want you to travel alone to Goza's camp and give me a full report as soon as you can, do not make contact and stick to the shadows, I need to know what supplies they have, what weapons and, above all numbers."

Odaya then gestured respectfully to Vandi,

"Qalawun, near to this place is a nomadic wanderer, she is like yourself, I thought that you should know and can offer you the opportunity to go and speak with her if you wish."

Finally Odaya came to Tu'aga,

"My friend, I want you to give me an account of our numbers, our supplies both food and weapons. Take seven men you can trust and secure the available resources and keep them guarded, bring me a full report as soon as you can, we need to be careful with what little we have and we can't have people taking without our knowledge."

"I assure you, I will lead this clan to victory. I would have each of you swear your swords to me and be my Wuy'anaku, men I trust above all else."

ooc- Making this up but wuy'anaku is a mix of winged and sword so basically a personal bodyguard (you get a better pick of the spoils of war than the others when it comes to it :P)not sure if it applies to vandi, it's up to you pericles. If you don't want to, act as if I wasn't addressing you as i'm not sure what the rules are on Qalawuns exactly, think we need to flesh them out a bit :P

As the Wusun spoke, Tu'aga listened and waited until he was addressed, then he frowned deeply... Odaya wanted him to serve, and to lower himself to share a status with these men? Sighing, he turned towards the tent's opening, looking out into the daylight and saying nothing.

Talorcan bows lowgiving the Wusun his loyalty. He waits to see if there are any more orders, just in case he misses something important before he heads for the gorge.

A'alustra watched as they all filed into the new Wusun's tent.
He smiled weakly, and strode away quietly, his moccasined feet carrying him away into the darkness, armed with his bow.
Things had been set in motion, and so this particular task was done. Now another took his attention.

ooc- hold on a second skylord and mors need to talk to you guys separately, I'll rp with you two as if the others have left so yeah, a bit of timeskipping here but I want to give the others a chance to rp too

"Tu'aga, Talorcan, remain behind for a moment I wish to speak with you."

Odaya watched the others filter out leaving the two men behind,

"I must appoint my Wuy'attanu soon, I am not about to declare war, yet we need a level of control in the camp... for that reason I would name both of you my generals. You are both my strongest warriors and commanders and I beg of you to put your differences aside for now, it will be up to us to ensure the safety of the clan and, eventually the destruction of Goza. Talorcan, go and scout the valley now, travel lightly speed is of the essence and take only two men, the rest will be needed here at the moment. I have faith that you'll be able to secure the valley and ensure it's viability."

He inclined his head towards Talorcan,

"You may leave Wuy'attanu."

Odaya then turned to Tu'aga,

"I wish for you to remain behind a moment longer, there is something I must discuss."

he had noticed Tu'aga's look of discontent and understood the mans problems, he hoped to address his fears

Ulzok looked at Odaya and responded Calmly. "As you say Wusun. Just a suggestion but if you'd like I could try to see if it's possible to burn some of their supplies."

Talorcan bows, leaves and grabs two bowmen. They then begin travelling at speed towards the valley, seeking to arrive in at least three hours.

Ooc - Not sure how to scout this. Will I need rolls, or can I just come back with some deer and give generic info?

Yes, there is.

Now that the others had left, Tu'aga could speak his mind.

I am not your quartermaster, Odaya.

Ulzok looked at Odaya and responded Calmly. "As you say Wusun. Just a suggestion but if you'd like I could try to see if it's possible to burn some of their supplies."

Odaya thought for a moment,

"No, not yet, just report what you find for the moment, when you return we shall discuss sabotage options but, for now, we don't want to draw them to us, especially in our vulnerable position."

Yes, there is.

I am not your quartermaster, Odaya.

"No you are not, you are the man I just gave control of the camps' weapons too..."

Odaya smiled,

"I do not expect you to serve blindly and without question Tu'aga, but if you directly go against something I ask you to do in front of the rest of the clan they will lose respect for me as a leader. I once swore to you that I would stand by your side when we slay Goza and for now I'm trying to consider how to use your heritage to our advantage but I can't do that if the clan won't listen to me and for the clan to listen to me they need to see solidarity at the top."

Sometimes it really annoyed Tu'aga that he wan't the smartest man alive. Considering his lineage, he should be, but apparently you can't have everything.

You will be a good Wusun.

A fly landed on his hand and he stopped to wave it away.

The right moment of revelation is crucial, with that we could bind all tribes to us in belief without having to shed a single drop of blood.

That goes without saying. Goza will die.

Tu'aga shrugged his shoulders after Odaya slapped him on the bag, as if resetting invisible feathers that had been disturbed.

So to the stockpile then... seven men, you said? Who?

Ulzok reponded in turn. "Very well I'll head out to carry out the task." He then proceeded to walk out of the tent.

Talorcan marched into Odaya's tent, and gave him his report. He also gave him a small map he had sketched when he was there.

"If you let me take 10 men Odaya, I can fortify the camp and hunt for the wild herds of cattle and horse. With 10 men and 4 days, I can create a fortified camp for us to move into."

Ooc - This is a slight time skip, also, for the actual report read my valley of Udwala thread, all Talorcan is telling you is basically that.

"Men you trust personally, I'll leave that up to you. Though I don't want any hot-headed youths near the camps weapon supply..."

Odaya smiled,

"I will go and speak to our people once this is done and Talorcan has returned with news, we're going to have to move and it will be difficult, when you have control over the weapons come find me and we shall plan."

Odaya thought for a moment

"Take five, I can't spare too many as we need to protect those who remain here, good work Talorcan."

He smiled,

"Go with them and see what you can do but return tomorrow and leave them to deal with it, we need to make some plans."

Talorcan nodded cheerfully, this good news had finally put him in a good mood.

"I'll need to take some axes, bows and arrows from the weapons stockpile. I'll leave all the iron arrows and take only bone, fli and wood arrows, as they wont pierce armour."

There are those that we grew up with, men we would sport with.

Due to his grandmother's desire to seclude him at times, Tu'aga had missed out on most of the hunts and other sports, but had always been present for wrestling bouts and other such combative activities.

I shall return shortly.

With that, Tu'aga left the tent.

Talorcan nodded cheerfully, this good news had finally put him in a good mood.

"That is fine,"

Odaya smiled,

"You may go Talorcan"

Odaya inclined his head
