Hmm it depends ofc on the players, but i'd go with Ultra or at least Large

I hope that it is ultra because even ultra seems small to me, anyone else think it will be large and ultra? if so why?

the same reason you mentioned, even ultra is small for me, battles against the AI last maximum 10-15 minutes now.

I remember playing SPQR mod the battles were 40-60 minutes long!

probaly ultra or large cuz longer battles keep me in thre game as in more interested when i see alot of corpses on the battle field wich cool if there are wounded troops as well seeing lotsa corpses and moving people on the ground makes me feel good about myself especially if its not my forces either

One can draw a conclusion that Playing shogun 2 in Ultra settings will boost ones self esteem.

im having a problem its saying my daytime.pack file is missing but i put in the data folder and its there but when i use the tool it disappears

Oh dear, seems to be a problem with the siege battle.

I'm getting instability in that particular battle (its set to daytime, generals allowed and unit size 75%)

Plus I've noticed that the castle AI just sallys out and attacks me; no effort to defend whatsoever.

Hmm, I'll have a look at what could be causing the seige battle's instability.

The defenders sallying out could be due to the fact I'v forgotten to add a victory condition.

can someone tell me what preferences.txt file this tool uses? I set all my preferences the way I like that and set the file to read only along with the first line to false so it can't be over-written. This was working up until this custom battle tool. Any help would be appreciated.

My tool does nothing even close to edit the preferences, it's nothing to do with using the tool.

My game also crashed in siege battle.. I deployed army, started battle, made some movements with camera and then it crashed..

Ok, I'd suggest nobody play's the siege battle until I find out whats causing the problem then.

EDIT: I reuploaded a version on the OP without the siege battle, as to avoid any further problems until I fix the problem.

Please don't post if you have problems with the siege battle now, Im well aware of the problem and am looking to fix it.

I did read a while back that some other people had problems with teh game resetting their preferences.

Open your preference script and check the top line.

write_preferences_at_exit false;

That determines if the game writes to your preference script everytime you exit the game, which you don't want if you'v editted it manualy.

I'v told you this via Steam.... LEAVE THE FILES ALONE. The whole point of the tool is to do the stuff for you...

But a BSOD is not something that would be even remotely likely to be triggered from use of this tool in relation to the game.

I think your PC cannot handle the battles you are trying to play.

thats strange my pc can handle DoW2 on highest graphics with no lag but in 1 on 1 battle in shogun 2 demo on medium graphics it cant handle strange
