But no, yeah I liked what he was saying, sounds great if thats what we actually get.

I think I like the idea of actually conquering the Japanese map more than I do the European, because Japan was united sometime after the game ends so its not like Europe which is still divided, I can take the land without feeling that I'm making my faction too big and unrealistic. I haven't tried taking the whole map since Medieval 2 when I first got it, I have since then mostly tried to keep things even and control the map not letting anyone get too stong and if they did return the land to its former owners.

Yeah I mean its clear they didn't want him giving away information that they aren't wanting out yet. I was more referring to SEGA having influence over CA.

Thanks for the link. I like some of the features he mentioned. And yes, Corporal, God forbid he mentioned some minor feature that doesn't actually get released with the game...people will be accusing him of being evil, a criminal, and worthy of a lawsuit.

For the love of all that is holy I hope so, I love that they mention an RPG element being added to generals. This will be fantastic as I already role play with my Total War games (back stories and all, I am a complete geek) just designed an new computer this afternoon, now to save up and upgrade! My laptop has been very nice this past year but I am tired of Struggling through Napoleon and toning down graphics and suffering through lag with DarthMod.

Wow.

I've often dreamed of a Total War game where you're a simple soldier, a spearman or an archer or whatever, and the game is going on around you, the great affairs of the world, and you can hardly comprehend it , it's so huge and beyond your horizon. All you know is that you're one man swept up in grand events and you must fight for your life as you work your way up the ranks...

Assuming you're not trolling...massive multiplayer online...that is, a roleplaying game.

Imagine rolling Assassin's Creed into S2TW...and playing a simple ninja in the game..
