I cannot agree. Have you seen some of these holes?

So what you're basically saying confirms my theory that Korea is the poor man's JapanFortunately I was already onboard the airplane by the time everyone's recommendations trickled in. Suffice it to say, Japan had its charms and downsides. The public transportation system was chaotically designed - a true nightmare. I compared everything I saw in Japan to Korea. My conclusions are as follows:
Where Japan is better:
-Cleanliness
-Odor
-Self-Presentation
-Beds
-Hotel rooms
-Saltiness in food
-Perversion
-Beef
Where Korea is better:
-Public Transportation
-Convenience Store Selection
-Packaged Ramen
-Cost of living
-Beer
-Food Balance
-Money (noing coins everywhere)

And also the public transportation system here is the bee's knees, Diomod.
Yeah it's possible that it's not the number one, but still - chaotic/a true nightmare is a bit much considering it's the biggest city in the world and it's public transit system is widely held to be one of the best. You're gonna change your mind once you see the Seoul public transportation network. From a Western perspective, yes, the Japanese system is great, especially due to its cleanliness. But when compared to Seoul, Japanese public transportation is no match. The Seoul subway is even cleaner, more comfy, and better organized.
Strictly Tokyo Metropolis is only a small sliver of the whole city though, which when taken in its totality as the Greater Tokyo Area is number 1 at 38 million.Wikipedia says that there's several cities ahead of it in regards to population. Notably Chongping, Beijing, Shanghai and Karachi.
Do we need to send a few more nukes over there, Inkie?
What's even more surprising is that it was already the world's biggest city when Japan was mostly closed off from the world in the 19th century. Thriving economy, excellent aqueduct system supplying people with clean water from nearby mountains, good hygiene and waste removal, lack of animals in the city etc.My country is several times bigger than all of Japan, and we don't have to deal with earth quakes and only a few unexploded nuke drops, yet Tokyo has twice as many people living in it as my entire country.
Easy: It's not located nowhere, but on the confluence of Yangtze and some other river, and between mountains, so that people can't really avoid passing through the city. Similar things go for most other cities as well. The dominating factors for most of them are 1) water & 2) mountains, if there are any. If these factors aren't dominating the landscape enough, such as in semi-northern France, you can see a very interesting pattern there, with cities somewhat evenly spaced out and forming lots of triangles in between.Akar, I think you mean Chongqing, not Chongping you bigot. Or Ch'ung-Ch'ing as we true Chinese say.
How did Chongqing get that big anyway? It is literally a city in the middle of nowhere but it has a population of over 30 million.
Anyone seen American Factory? Was pretty great IMO.
When you have 1.5 billion people it's incredibly hard to not have cities of 30m people.
Sorry I haven't been very active boys, but Flinn assassinated me cos I revealed the truth about him changing the votes on the Bloggers Award.
