Bally bad luck, chaps!

The new DLC seems to have given my installation some sort of herpes, I'm getting decidely odd flickering on town names in the campaign map and in menus, also the end of turn/year counter flickers like a mad thing or is completely blanked out/completely transparent.

I can cure it by running the old dear in windowed mode, but this doesn't sit well with me particularly as I have to use the W,S,A,D,Q,E keys to achieve what used to be done with the flick of a mouse to the edge of the screen.

Anyhow, the old box's specs:-

Phenom2 965BE
Asus Crosshair 3 Formula
4GB Ram
AMD 6870 (stock) + AMD 6850 (factory o/c 860c, 1050ram) in crossfire.
Cat 11.8 + 11.8 CAP 4
PSU Corsair TX 650

Ta.

try high settings not ultra, if that does not solve it, disable crossfire.

Thanks old chap!

Doesn't work, but I know its the thought that counts and all that. I think I'd rather wait for a CAP update than disable, why spoil the jolly old picture show when a little patience might repay me?

Once again, thanks.

Could. Not. Resist.

Damnation! Spine all spongey, no moral fibre, basically I have caved and am running it in Dx9, which the current CAP seems to support in Crossfire.

Just recording this in case some other poor duffer should suffer the same symptoms in Dx11.

I had the same problem. Revert to catalyst drivers 11.6 or 11.6b and you will be fine. They make dx11 to perform better and with no glitches or flickering in menus or boxes

Many thanks, I will certainly try this.
