I mean, if literally nobody else is willing to enter this massively postponed edition for the same reason, I really don’t see why we can’t just disregard this rule once for the sake of allowing the competition to even run at all and reset the prompt/submissions.

The result of the first week of voting is a tie, so we'd normally have a tie-break vote... but since every entry has received one vote so far, it seems a bit silly to start a new thread containing exactly the same poll as the one we already have! I've therefore extended the duration of the original poll, which will obviously have the same effect as a tie-break in this case.

My entry forTotW 301 is 431 words by the spell checker. Usually my stories are right at the 200 word minimum so I guess we can call this one a two for one special....
