Gamespy ID creation

Since gamespy is down, the ID page keeps redirecting me to IGN for account registration. I made an IGN account and tried signing in to the multiplayer but it won't work, someone please help.

What makes you think having an account here will allow you to play M2TW multiplayer?

I had to download something called "GamespyArcade" to actually register my IGN account with GameSpy. Downloading GamespyArcade was viewed as malware by Malwarebytes so I deleted it within minutes of confirming that I was able to log in to M2TW multiplayer lobby. Maybe Harvester of Sorrow is right in that you can create and register an account without downloading GamespyArcade. It would certainly make things much easier.

I've downloaded (and subsequently removed) it twice to create accounts and not had any problems with my computer afterwards. And it does work.

I made an account with password ect. and tried multiplayer with the same account on here, it said my password was an invalid one.

i made an account and i was able to play multiplayer now i traveled to another country but i cant play and i dont know why the game says connection lost when i try to log in and sometimes it says logon failed

Yes, or set up your own LAN. Hamachi is still an option.

use the steam version of MTW2 wich is required for multiplayer and use your steam account as ID
