Fixing the AI money script (alpha)

As many of you know, the EB script gives a bonus of 1200mnai per city to the AI factions every turn. While this is nice for the smaller factions to keep them in the game, it is unnecessary for giant ones and it is a major reason why the Seleukids engulf the rest of the world, and the Sweboz can throw 5 full stacks at the player every turn after they get big.

There is an effort at the Org to modify the script file so that the bonuses decrease as faction size increases. It is still in a very early stage of development. Basically there is a modified section of code which you can splice into your EBBS_SCRIPT.txt file if you would like to test it. This is a very loosely organized effort, and fans are encouraged to tweak it in their own ways and post the results. There are already several alternative versions floating around.

If you are so inclined, it would be nice to see some feedback in the form of screenshots or AARs. If you modify the script further, it would also be very helpful to report back about the effects of your modifications. Be aware that most of the discussion about this is going on at the Org, and it is sometimes hard to coordinate a project between the two boards, so you may want to talk about it over there if you are able. However, if you can't or don't want to post over there, it would still be a great help if you could give us feedback here.
