Ok , So ill start to describe the situation: Im playing england my favorite kingdom at the late period, ok so ive conquerd scotland and almost all off the north-western costal areas in europe. So ive got a quite large garrisons in the settlements but still my econmy is quite stable. Now france is begining to bother me, so i plan on building up a professional army (armoured heavy infantry and knights) in my campagin against them. And here goes the problem , after building up a full stacked army , my econmy begins to dwindle , and after a couple of turns i lose all of it and the -1000 start to occur.

How do i avoid this situation? anyone got any tips or tricks?

Expand your empire.

Right now, the best thing for you to do is take your best general, give him at least six units, and attack the weakest defended neighboring city.

Just do it. You'll get tons of money for sacking or even exterminating, and you'll push your enemy's borders a bit back. Don't stand around, period!

Other than that, try do get rid of unnecessary agents, units, or buildings.

So you have like full stacks of units in ALL your settlements? Bad idea. Personally I only garrison cities and castles in case of a incoming invasion or to keep good public order, that case I build town militias or peasants. What probally happened is that your expenses to income finally tipped over to debt, so try to keep your garrison troops cheap.
