So, I've noticed this before on DMUC. I'm playing as Venice and the barbary states decide to hand over 4 trading vessels by "pirating" my tradeline with 4 dhows. I decide to take them and attack with a fleet. Halfway through the battle with 2 of the dhows captured, my ships spontaneously start to surrender and one of my ships sinks without being hit. None of my ships were damaged to any degree, I don't get it. I've had this happen on other naval battles as well.
