This is guide is about how to play as Scottland and deafeat Engaland.
First you need to take York and turn it into a castle the proceed to counqure the rest of Britains and Ireland's rebel's.
Also make an alliance with France.
Next you need to build up your army and navy. Use York and Wales to build you army, your northen settlmeant to build you economy, and your capital to build most of your navy.
Wait until England and France go to war, then wait say about two turns after that so most of Engaland's army is in France, then send in your navy to blockcade London and Normandy so they can't shuttle solders back and forth, while at the same time have your armies from York and Wales attack Nottingham and London. (After you use both armies to take out any large armies they may still have.) If all goes well you should have total control of Brittian in about 3 or 4 turns. Then it's a short trip over the English channle to Normandy were the English may be able to give one last major battle before they are unable to fight any more.

And never, ever, ever use pikes with Scotland. They are so overrated its not even funny.Use the lift kilt icon in the unit ability screen. Watch the English morale sink. The English were such ninnies in those days, and don't pay attention to Braveheart.Fear is greater than armor.

J/K By gosh I hope no one took my post seriously! I never played Scotland, but good guide Aceking90. Short and to the point.:thumbsup2

Their pikes are their best feature. Scotland has a great mix of infantry and pikes who are also quite early available. With some border horses added your inf army is unbreachable by the English pansy infantry.

A fanboy who played Scotland because of Braveheart, no doubt.:whistling I am a quarter Scottish as well with the first two letters of my last name being Mc. Shame you didn't read the bottom of my post to see I was in a facetious attitude with the post. I am actually considering to play a Scottish game since there is a huge base of England fanboys, and it seems to be overlooked compared to other factions. I was facetious against the English as well as Scottish fanboys. Nothing really wrong with being a fanboy, though it can be hilarious at times to watch fanboy fanaticism.I hope to be one myself after playing a Danish or Scottish campaign, since I am a little bit of both. Again good guide Aceking90:thumbsup2Felt sort of bad about taking away from the seriousness of your guide after i posted. Also ironic, I am using Scotland written by Nigel Blundell as a prop to raise my laptop higher off my desk:laughter:

England is overrated, lol. Their longbows NEVER EVER thin out my pikemen units well enough to give them the advantage, and I'm talking about higlang militia pikemen and highland pikemen which have no decent armor.

And no, I'm a Portugal and Denmark/Norway fanboy =D
