basically fort walls that is damaged or destroyed in a siege, and say i repelled the attackers.
but after a few turns, i get into another siege situation, those walls are still destroyed.
anyone experienced this
bug??
 
Unforutnately, I dont think you can repair walls short of destroying and rebuilding them.
 
For me they are repaired the next time I fight a siege. . . This is for the city walls. I dont know about alone forts.

Really? I have played this game a lot and i`ve seen no repairs at all.

To the first poster, yes. This has been a long running complaint. CA don`t even acknowledge the problem. It`s awfull and totally unacceptable. Lord of the Drunk penguin is right that in MTW2 you can easily repair your walls after one turn.

ETW is broken and CA won`t even fix it, just like ETW`s walls.
 
It generally takes a few turns for it to repair itself. Probably around 2-5 turns. That's just from what I've seen.

No, it doesn`t! Have I slipped into a paralell universe or something?

I`ve had numerous Fort sieges where my walls were busted. First I had one hole in the wall in around 1730, I got attacked again in 1732, the original hole was there but while the AI attacked it blew a second hole in the wall. About 10 virtual years later in 1742, they attacked again and the 2 holes in my walls were still there. There had been no way to repair them. I`ve had several more attacks since then. The holes are still there.

The only positive thing about this was the AI at least did a straight attack instead of using ninja ropes, but of course, I just set up my few civilians and 1 canister artillery in position and I win - again.

The walls are NEVER repaired.
 
Walls are futile deterrents which stop your musket volleys from reaching your foe's head. Good idea that CA leaves them broken.

I always left them unrepaired in Med2 so as the enemy can flow more easily and naturally into my trap.
