The game randomly freezes when i am in a battle and on the campaign map. This forces me to have to restart my computer. Can someone help me with this please? Any suggestions? I loaded a clean version of Rome v1.5, then Barbarian Invasion 1.6. The version of Invasio Barbarorvm Ruina Romae is 7.03

Is any particular location of the map more prone to experience those CTD's? What options and scripts do you have on? I assume no similar issues while playing other mods.

I didn't load any of the options nor scripts. Also, it is not a crash to the desktop. I will be scrolling across the map with my mouse and it randomly freezes, the music still plays though. This forces me to restart my computer. It happens everytime i play around 10 minutes into the game. I have played a few mods since loading this one and it did the same to all of those as well.
Actually, come to think of it, i loaded "Grand Ages: Rome" and it worked for a while, then it started freezing about ten minutes in. So i uninstalled that and came back to my Rome mods and it did the same thing to those. So i uninstalled Rome Total War vanilla and deleted all mods, then reinstalled fresh Rome v1.5, Barbarian Invasion v1.6, and still i get the same problem. It does it to both vanilla and all mods. Someone please help me pin point the bug or suggestions for what might be wrong. Thanks.

I think that even when you uninstalled both games, some registries were left in your computer and they might be interferering with a proper new installation. I know it's not funny, but I recommend to uninstall everything again and remove the registries from your computer before you re-install the games. One more tip, if you have Vista create a new folder in your HD, name it whatever you like (Games, for instance), and install your games in that folder. Vista will be less of a pain in the butt regarding your games.
