no it's not 2 player it's only 1 player
RTI, chapter 4, essentially is the grand campaign, with access to all of the theatres included in the grand campaign. The main difference is that you start in year 1783 (or close to it) and begin with a lot more technology already researched than you do in the GC. You are still very much a small fish in a big pond, as all other major nations are FAR more developed than you. I think I enjoyed RTI more because of this. I started as a nothing, a spec. And I worked really hard to prove myself over the course of the campaign.
I don't fully get people's disappointment that they aren't in the "grand campaign" proper. They have something specially tailored for them, and as someone who's played it through to the end, it's quite enjoyable!
I'd rather have the U.S. in the grand campaign because I like building my empire (or republic) from the ground up.
You also can't choose a difficulty level in the RTI campaign.
It's also much shorter than the grand campaign.
One question.
I keep reading that US is emergent? Now tell me, does it always happen at a certain year? Or is it random or what?
If my GB GC didnt die I was getting clost to 1776 with owning the whole world minus the inuit (declearing war caused crash, everytime) and st johns (same thing lol)
would loved to have seen an uprising in america? Would it be just the 13 colonies or the whole continent since I owned it all?
