I've followed everything in the guide on how to install T.I.C
Installed rome total war first
Installed barbarian invasion
Patch it up to v1.6
Installed T.I.C 1.0
Patched it to 1.1

Now problem is, in the beginning where your first battle is against the barbarians on the north using Hamilcar Barca. Yes it's automatic so i had no choice, I chose to fight battle on map. After it finished loading, the program just close me out to window. I tried reinstall etc. but i still receive the same problem over and over again. Please help.

The option fleeing / automatically resolve battle does work.

First of all - welcome to the forum.

I presume you've added the '-show_err' to the shortcut target? This sometimes outputs a trapped message.

One thing that may be happening is that the units in TIC are a higher resolution than the ones in previous versions of RTR and probably other mods.

Try and turn down some of the graphics settings. The first one to change are the grass settings - it's a known killer. I think shadow/glints is the next one on the list.

Also make sure that your graphics card has the latest drivers available to it.

You can also post the spec of your PC (CPU, memory and graphics card). You can extract these from the dxdiag utility. If you don't know how to run that (with Windows XP) its START then RUN and put dxdiag in the box and then run it.

Can you please explain how to add the '-show_err'?

The problem happened again when i tried to play the second playable faction first battle on map always disconnect me. However the second battle which i am being attacked does work.

Try to use the lowest setting on graphics. During betatesting there were reports that the game/battle crashes when using ATI gfx card on highest vegetation setting.
