It wasn't a mod per-se but it was a program that you downloaded that would simulate Rome: Total War's campaign, except you could play it with other players. From what I recall it was the best way to play a multiplayer campaign with your friends but I can't find it anymore. Does anyone know where it is?

I know there's a few floating around, but this is the only one where you can actually battle with the other players.

Ah this thing. If you look in the multiplayer section, you will find there there is a hotseat thing called "Augustus" being run by a member called Valerius Tiberius. The Augustus hotseat is made to work using this "mod" that you are talking about, so if you ask Valerius Tiberius via PM or something, he might be able to give you some sort of link.

I'm not sure if it's the Augustus mod or the other one. The mod I'm describing doesn't have autoresolved battles. The battles are actually fought out - and the diplomatic turn-based part isn't actually done ingame but in a program that looks like the Rome:Total War campaign but actually isn't. I don't know if anyone here has actually seen it because it was sort of difficult to locate. I found it once before but this time around I have no idea where it is or if the website it ran on even exists anymore.
 
I kinow the one your talking about but I can't fine the site either.
