Are there any problems (lurking variables) associated with changing the starting_action_points from 100 to 150? It seems more realistic to make that change, since it didn't take 6 months to march from Athens to Pella, nor did it take three months to sail a galley from Athens to Rhodes. Anyway, I was wondering why the development team chose 100 and figured you guys found that a setting of 150 (or whatever) had upset other aspects of the Campaign? I like it, personally, but haven't played a whole game that way.

Also, why does using a road on the battlemap make a unit go slower? I think you have it at .80, while snow is at .55 (I think).

Could've guessed that! Well now I feel really dumb. Three dumb questions and three short answers: engine, engine, engine! The only reason why I ask is cos the game (EB) is so good, that it makes me want more! Inspired, you could say. Good job on the Romans, too, sir. I have only dabbled in them, playing greeks only, so far. But they look pretty cool.

I'm still going to crank it up to 150. I suffer mind-splitting bouts of cognitive dissonance trying to suspend my knowledge of time/distance relationships!
