im trying to add a character to the family tree and wondering if theres a console code or a character/save game edditor runnin about you could point me to.

I don't believe there is any way to add a character to the family tree mid game. You could script a general in or script a family member in for rebels and bribe him to add him to your family tree.

how do i go about doing that? which file do i need to edit? can it be done mid game?
