Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

Kenilworth celebrates the arrival of it's new son. The people and the lord start praying that Gregor will survive longer then his brothers.

All troops and levies are called to march towards Portsmouth.

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

The Cardinal's wagon approaches Kenilworth Castle, home of the Lord Chief Justice Sir William of the Steelblade. The beautiful covered wagon rolls into the courtyard and Tristan determinedly steps out.

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

The cardinal is led to William's office.

"Welcome Cardinal. I name you as regent now, as promised to Raglan and Davis. Yet I hope you decide to search for a new king together with me."

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

' Let us hope that my reign as regent will be a short but successful one. I may need thy help in the search for a new king, therefore i invite thee to my manor tomorrow, and we shall dicuss it. I will invite a few others as well. '

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

"I hope so too. And I thank you for inviting me to dinner, I shall be there."

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

A guard escorts Owain to Williams study room. William seems to be busy with a wooden model of Edinburgh.

"Hello Owain, what brings you here?"

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

Greetings my Lord William, i have been thinking about this situation obviously some scallywag may try to upsurge everything or cause us more trouble, i suggest a joint venture between the Steel Blade and the Sangreal declare full martial law in England install a curfew no man my move after sundown without full traveling papers.Harsh perhaps but necessary as well.

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

"The steel Blade is an order to protect the rights of commoners, Owain. Installing a martial law is not needed in England I think. The cardinal is a strong figure in England, many kings come and go, but the cardinal guides all of them. Everyone respects him, they will not fight his decision. I think you should ask the cardinal first if martial law is needed."

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

Commoners? ahhh sentimental clap trap the buggers should know their place and respect those of us who can at least string two words together with out tugging our forelocks each time, and who can say sir and not Surrrr or ohhh arrr when we speak.I will see Tristan get his point of view, you know William the commoners need authority they will respect thee more, give them a free voice and that way leads to Anarchy and God forbid bloody democracy.

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

"There is more in this world then democracy, anarchy and pure oppression. Respect and authority are fine, but I don't share your current view on England to apply martial law. However, if the cardinal thinks martial law is needed, then I shall support him."

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

"Appologies accepted Owain. You never have to call me lord in private. Do you remember the day we first met?"

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

Murchaid Casey rode into the courtyard of Kenilworth. It had been years since he had been here and it was good to be back in Warwickshire. After leaving his weapons with the guards he asked to see Lord William.

ooc: This can be after your conversation with Owain if you want.

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

(OOC Time warp in case you were wondering)

Refresh my memory William.....i am sorry i feel slightly odd today for some reason.

That day, I was a rookie, a squire who had enlisted the day of departure. I took the role of prisoner guard on me with that crazy Scot that you made sign our victory. That day, I was the low peasant who was scared of you, our great king. You never have to call me lord in my castle, because of that day."

Murchaid is told he can find the earl at his meeting room.

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

"That was indeed me.

Dark days will come for me. The loss of Timothy is a hard one, he was more then a lord to me. But shall try to remain the king's most loyal warrior."

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

"You are wise beyond your years Owain. Our time on this world is short, and I have made the best of it so far. And many years are to come, and in those I will watch my son grow and become like his father."

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

All weapons are removed from the admiral. The admiral is then guided by a guard to the meeting room.

"Hello Admiral, what brings you to my castle?"

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

"I am a man of honour, admiral. I promised you, I would."

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

William offers his hand to the other William,

Indeed, I hope you took no offense when i doubted you. It was an unusual night, and i wasn't sure who i could trust. I only trusted Owain and that was because he was the former King.

May i ask what your thoughts are about the night? and who should replace King Timmy

Re: Kenilworth Castle - Warwickshire, home of Sir William Edwardson

"That night was strange. I still believe you have done the right thing. Had you not done it, then I would have mutilated his body while killing that snake with my hands. King Timothy is unreplacable for me. But I think baron Germati and Baron Clinton would be the best to replace him for the rest of England."
