PN naval officers

I know RN marines wore red onboard but not the naval officers. Has anyone modded these to blue or how can I do it ? Minor point but it would irritate me playing GB

wait...really??I didnt notice that previously.guess that is an impovement that i overlooked from the base that I have been playing:(

oops i was wrong. i was thinking of the Radious mods. im using that right now, for i dont like some of the changes the Lethal mod uses.
in the Radious mod you can make unlimited elites, but when i expressed my concern over the prospect of having to fight stacks of elites, he told me that in his tests the AI never spams elites.

I just joined the sight...only been a fan TW since Rome...must have logged over 300 hours of Rome...NE way is there a mod for ETW that has cities in the sea trade theaters??? i heard there was

If anyone has played the Stainless Steel mod then he might has seen the Crismon Tide mod.
This mod enables far better blood and dust and smoke.
In Empire Total war there in no such mod(Actually there is but it is not that good)
I suggest someone experienced in modding to create that mode for ETW

I'm making a mod like that. As of now 1 volley of 160 line inf. unit = 6-10 dead at mid ranges, less at longer more at shorter, am also working on various realism changes
 
adding more ammo for infantry

does anyone know of any mini-mods that only increases the amount of ammo units like line infantry and other units? anyone know of a way to edit the amount myself?

its in the units_land/units file under "Ammo" heading just change that to whatever number you want, i use 100 for infantry and that seems to work for umlimited time!! :thumbsup2

thanks. i just saw the thread in the modding help section, probably should have checked there first before posting.
but you have to redo this every time there is a new patch?
and you have to use the pack file manager, right?
maybe ill create my own mod for this.

Heya everyone, I just returned! And now with ETW.

I've been playing for quite some time, and wanted to know if there's a (released) mod that:
1)improves battle AI (just hate the suicidal cavalry charges at the beggining of every battle...makes both their cavalry and my cannons useless)

and/or

2) gives a better unit rooster to Prussia (I understand they had one of the best armies in the world...I haven't played with them because they've got nearly no "unique" units, only the standard stuff and a couple more units.)

Does such mod exist?

Hey I just unlocked the minor factions, but they all seem so generic, mostly the German states, are there any good mods which add units/extra spice to these, especialy in the case of Bavaria, Saxony and Wuttemburg. Thanks in advance if theres anything like this ;).

Ok everyone I'm making a mod request/recommedation here.
How about a mod that makes deployable defences more widely available?:yes: like in custom battles and stuff. Or is there no way to do this?:hmm:

Somebody please reply I've only used those defences twice out of maybe 150 battles.:disgust:
And I'm sure I'm not the only one.

mod question

Any mods which give all the lands that european factions have in North america back to indian tribes from the start of the game?

Hi I've already asked and received the answer about Toon's units.

Now I'm look for a mod, a screaming mod infact, it makes soldiers scream on the battlefield, and I can't find it anywhere I really want it aswell :( please help.

alright im new - i have modmanager but the only files working are the sikh.pack because it came saying ".pack" windows blocks it whenever its a ".rar" program

You should have posted me on my own site mate!! :laughter: no need to make a new thread.

If you want to change the unit name to British Infantry, just go to units_land/units and change the Screen Name there, and in the LOC file! its as simple as that! :thumbsup2

I meant could you create a unit, or rather mod one of you're units, so your marines have a higher black boot, if you don't know what I mean I'll try to explain more later ;), I've been up a loong time lol.

Oh and I'll try to post on your site, what is it lol :).

Oh and well done on all your good work (just a side note ;))

finding post french revolutionary line infantry with "boots" was like looking
for the godamned holy grail!

theres a skinning (customizing the appearance of a soldier) tutorial that is fairly comprehensive and worth taking a look
at if your interested in skinning some dudes. just go to the modding tools section. just remember to upload your work after your done for the rest of us!
