This is my Norvgord campaign, I have to say this is the best mod I've ever personally played on this game. Kudos King Kong + team!

I am currently finding the v/vh campaign very hard with all boarder threats anyway here it is.

I have managed to win the norwaygians who were 2900 and i was 1700(i haven't have won withour the longbowmen)

i know,but this is my choice.Slow and steady.
I like to have a very historical acurate campaign.
I like being so slow because i want to have pleasure when i defeat the factions
Why do't you try it,you might love it.
Moreover if i conquer everything before turn 100 what will i do in turn 250?
One more thing when you destroy a faction at the very begining that faction will not respand as if you had been at war for 50 turns that faction creates better armys and you have better battles
If you like i can expand through France,HRE and Scandinabia in 20turns

Here's a Portuguese empire that I am making!

I conquered the Moors and I've just vassled Ireland, almost getting excommunicated in the process. I might go to scotland and england next or I might go to France first.

Teutonic order
SS 6.1: no mods, no cheats, normal/normal
Turn: 59

Chronicle:
1) I took all Swedish rebel settlements – Visby, Nykoping and Uppsala.
2) Polish town Plock rebelled and I took it.
3) Danish town Revel rebelled; I made alliance with Denmark and took Reval using Danish stack right to settlement.
4) I called the crusade to Vilnius and took Hrodna and Vilnius.
5) Novgorod attacked me, so I made peace with Lithuania and took Pskov
and Novgorod.
6) Lithuania declared war on Novgorod too and took Polotsk.
7) I made peace with Novgorod and destroyed Lithuania by taking Polotsk
and Minsk.
8) I declared war on Novgorod again and took Smolensk. Made peace after
that, because the rest of Novgorodian settlements were to far in the east.
9) Poland at the time was excommunicated; I made the things worse for
them by calling crusade on Polish controlled Vien and while Polish army
was doing it’s best fighting the crusaders at Vien, I attacked them and
took Scetsin, Thorn, Krakow and Halytch. Made peace with them after that.
10) Got Hanzeatic League in Visby. The trade income boost was
incredible. Now I can afford two professional armies (Each army =
General + 2 knights + 6 swordsmen + 4 crossbowmen + 2 catapults +
militia or mercs to fulfill the stack).
11) Norway attacked me, so at the moment I’am going to take all the
Scandinavia.

My next goals:
- Take Kievan Rus’ because they are concentrating large forces (4 or 5
stacks) on my borders near the roads and have 4 more reserve stacks at Kiev.
- Return to Holy Land and establish an eternal Christian rule over Holy
City of Jerusalem.

PS The first 15 turns were something like "To be or not to be"..

Wow my Portuguese one is being eventful. I declared war on Lithuania in a crusade and Ireland were allied with them, so I killed Ireland and It takes a long time for me to reinforce my settlement or two in Lithuania so it's quite equal. But as I have the rest of my Empire I've now vassled Lithuania. Near the start the Byzantines vassled Venice, then Denmark vassled Norway and now everyone wanted a bit of France so I got two of their places. And so the Crown of Aragon vassled France, but France lost their Family and are rebel and have an almost full stack in Paris. But I haven't taken much since last time.

The Crusader States ~ turn 87

General Overview

Best General ~ Charles the Silver-Tongued

I got him when he was 14, son of King Baldwin himself. Had 5 command stars from the start, and was the main reason of the Fatimid downfall conquering Al Aqaba, Medina, Mecca, Damietta and Alexandria. He had all 10 command stars before reaching the age of 20. Once again, he brought an empire down, this time the Papal States were going down. Now, an invasion upon the mainland of the Milanese is just starting.

The Crusader King ~ Gerard the Killer

Had a couple of Heroic victories, and endured the sieges of 2 Seljuk, 2 Almoravid and 3 Khwarezmian Jihad armies. Prevailed against all of them ^^.

On a never ending Jihad

Too bad the Fatimid are afraid to use ships to reach Jerusalem.

Baghdad

The Poles managed to hold onto Baghdad since the first Crusade was initiated, and the victorious Polish King Zbigniew conquered it.

The Exiled Pope

Once I conquered Rome and the other cities under tha Papal rule, I exchanged Mecca for a ceasefire with the newly selected Pope. I always imagined I would invade Mecca once an opportunity presented itself so I kept a large force within the nearby castle of Medina up north. What I didn't imagine was that the Fatimids rebelled against the Pope and asserted their rule. I quickly seized the opportunity and conquered Mecca to be once more a Crusader estate.

The Mongols

They had invaded Khwarezmian lands just a few years ago, and already conquered 1/4 of their huge Empire. One can only wonder what will happen if they ever reach Europe which is constantly being torn apart by various wars...

Assassin's Creed 2 ~ Prequel?

As I'm eagerly awaiting for the new AC, I was playing with a lot of Assassins and Spies myself. This resulted in Genoese cities being sabotaged and their Politicians and Statesmen being assassinated. I can't help it, Ubi spoiled me :tongue:

Toughest fight I had in a long time, I had the units that are on the pic, while the enemy had 6-7 Spearmen units(Pavise, Mercs and regular), 2 Macemen units, 2 Crossbowmen units, 1 Archer unit, 2 Cavalry Militia and 1 Ballista.

I wouldn't be going into a fight with such grim odds, but the enemy ambushed me while I was sending the Knights to reinforce one of my other armies. When the battle started, I quickly retreated to the nearby forest. While my knights were on their way, the hostile long-range units followed me, so I retaliated on them fiercely, leaving only a couple on their run for life. Their cavalry militia tried to stop me, but they were brought down as well by my knights.

The rest of the fight, a tiresome 10 minute fight, I split the knights into 2 groups and finally was victorious by using hit'n'run tactics. Sort of disappointed I wasn't offered the captain into my royal family, but it's cool. I did prevail against a far superior force. ^^

Here is my new Roman Empire, year 1297.
I'm fighting on 3 fronts:
In Southern France against Genoa
In North Africa Against Moors
And in the Holy Land against Fatimid and Khwarezmians

And there is also Jihad called against my capital, Constantinople. I'm glad I built those cannon towers...

Yes, the Almoravids crushed both the Portuguese and the Spanish... And now, they're going after Aragon while they're armies are laying useless sieges against my settlements.

The French are finally recovering from their misery, that is, now that HRE and England are out of the big picture.

60 years ago, the English suppressed the Scottish all they way back to Inverness, then the Pope intervened and the English didn't want to push anymore, never imagining that this might happen... Then Wallace happened. You know the rest

Poor Teutonic Order never seeming to get what they want, still having problems with the Danes.

What was once possibly the mightiest of all European nations, now can barely be called a nation at all. Numerous crusades, and a lot of enemies have brought them to their very knees.

The Mongols

This horde is coming after the Khwarezmians, while the Seljuks and the Poles won't have any chance against it... Then I'll see how I'll fare against them.

DAMN, they really like to reproduce! This horde is going after Novgorod and anyone else that gets in their way...

The Assassin's Guild

. Seems most of Europe is busy with their own trivial fights while you are gobbling up land. On a side-note, what sub-mod did you use to get the different looking overworld buildings? They look so much better than the vanilla ones.

Well, I was amazed as well to see them for the first time. You get the different settlement models if you install this submod, plus a load of other improvements.
