named_patch.pack format. I voted for. As simple of a installation as it gets. I don't want to mess around with mod managers ans scripts.

Great work Razor on those Red Coats please re texture for France and the other nations with the same detail and accuracy of the redcoats plz I think your work is the best though only saw redcoats

Great work guys keep it up:thumbsup2 I look forward to playing full mods later down the track.

Agree - reminds me of the tone and texture on Rome total realism:thumbsup2

I'm sure plenty of people have offered but I do have an unhealthy knowledge and repositry of information regarding military uniforms, tactics, unit names and even regimental colours (mainly for British Regiments) from the era ETW is based.

Give me a PM if you are stuck on anything and I should be able to help.

AMERICAN UNIFORMS

Hi guys - it would be great if some mastermind could mod the skins of the Yankee Infantry to have a white trim on the blue coats and creamy coffee colour breeches and shirts. Artillery would have a red trim instead. Read on as I found this US site that describes the infantry in Washington's army as having white trim on blue coats while the artillery had red trim on blue coats. Seemed they died their white breeches with coffee dye hence the browny-yellow breeches.

[On March 23, 1779, the Continental Congress allowed General George Washington to establish the first official American uniform and style. General Washington selected blue as the primary uniform color. Uniforms were to be lined with red or white fabric, depending on unit type. Infantry uniforms were lined with white, while artillery units had their uniforms lined in red fabric. The supply of fabric and labor did not allow every member of the Continental Army to receive a uniform. With the overall challenge of obtaining and distributing critical supplies, uniforms were just not considered a high priority]

[The white uniforms were often dyed with coffee which would change the color, which was a method preferred by Colonel Caleb Gibbs. He had desperately wanted all the soldiers to have red uniforms, but it simply was not feasible so the “coffee stained” uniforms were a good way to avoid white, which Gibbs simply did not like.

I am working on this unit now! have you also checked my thread/post for US retextures??

Re: AMERICAN UNIFORMS

Oh good stuff Toon - my only reservation was the yellowness of the breeches in the US yellow belly. Am I off the mark here?
Love the connecticut infantry - superb! My problem is I am a moron and cannot change scripts and stuff to be able to use them, it hurts my pea brain to try and work it out.
By the way - do you know how one can go into a unit and change the morale?

Re: AMERICAN UNIFORMS

Pack file manager you need to download first first, then open patch.pack file then follow my previous post!
By the way check my post new line infantry screenshot available as per TWC requests!!

Bocah, Waaagh has Austrian Line Infantry of later and perhaps of an even more good-looking date (in update2 or update3 of the "Austrian Realistic Uniforms" thread) than seen on the screenshot in your front page. And Magnus72 has some really beautiful Austrian Cuirassiers hidden in the package provided in the OP or post #92 of his thread "Prussian Realistic Uniforms".

Fronpage updated!
New screenshots of 77orion33 France general, grenadier and updated Waagh's line infantry. Added Magnus72 austrian curraiser.

Also, there's a nice gift from me to the community on this occasion :)
Yes, J3llyf1sh has spot it first (+rep for you). It is Easter themed grenadiers. Excellent for spreading the joy and love with grenades!

Hmmm... I think there's a misunderstand... :hmm:I think you're giving me credits for something I never did: I have not changed my line infantry. Someone esle should be credited for the new infantry texture

Ah yes, thanks orion, I misread what Demokritos wrote (Thank you also demo for noticing me on the updates). Fixed now!
Also, I've stealth update the Easter Grenadier file.

Edit:
Replaced ToonTotalWars yellow US line infantry with red version.

Note to self, never work when you are having a hangover...

I'm having difficulty getting the 'Show' options on the Opening Post to actually open. Am I missing something, or just not waiting long enough for them to load?

Literally, it is doing nothing at all. The button depresses and that's it. I have no issues opening any of the other 'Spoiler' tagged areas on the site.

Update!
Sir Astor Hannover line infatry (see my second post!). More by him will be coming soon!

@Gary
Starting to be interested in retexturing are we? :) If you want to use PackFileManager go here, it will read, extract and even repack files. (Very handy Lt.Chambers!)

@KindredBrujah
I think since this is the first time you opened my thread. I may takes a while to load all of the pictures. If you can see the "BEFORE", "AFTER", download links text in the spoiler tag, it's working fine then.
You may try using other browser to be certain, I've tested loading on IE and it works fine. Just wait for it to load. To be certain, open the first spoiler tag. Let me know if its working for you. Also tell me what browser are you using.

Update time!
- Remo US line infantry retexture added
- Ranger86 British artillery added
- German states (Hannover, Saxony, Westphalia, and Bavaria) line infantry by Smatussek1 (see second post)
- Saxony skin pack by ranger86 (see second post)

Morning All from London - here's a site I stumbled across that lists specifiic links regarding uniforms from a variety of excellent sources (beyond that of the extremely helpful Digger site) and it also has lots of information about battle order and logistics that will add a certain flavour to tactics me thinks ...

Evening update! (cause tommorow I won't be here for while)

- TGOTRE (The Glory of the Russian Empire) light mod by HellFell has been added into the collection!
- Denmark section added! (see second post)
Edit: ToonTotalWar white shirt silver button of US line infantry added.

@Neofit
You could ask one of the makers to correct Prussian grenadiers emblem hat (or whatever they are called).

@The Kurgan
I'll put that link on the frontpage
