Suggestion for a Love and Peace Thread

Newly inspired by my tribunal case and Farnan's impeccable moral standards, i think we should introduce a love and peace thread to resolve disputes and to end 'feuds'.

now i know what you're saying, this is probably one of Exarch's crazy ideas, but bear with me: we're a community. we're a TWC community and though we love to fight wargames and sate our war addiction sometimes by engaging in flame wars and 'feuds' in political debates, we must also recognize the importance of peace and love as well.

So feuding members will be advized by a moderator (preferably Farnan) to to take it either to the fight cluhb or the peace and lvoe thread where they will symbolically "hug and Kiss" or "handshake' and swear to love each other and not war each other for at least 3 days or something.

National Guard: Good attack, lousy uniforms, problems during weekdays, formidable in weekends
State Troopers: Limited cavalry, can create "fog of war" with teargas, funny hats
Hippies: Poor attack, special flower defense, variable rate of movement depending on the substance; can use burning monks
ACLU: affirmative attack, affirmative defense, can ride buses after reforms
Violent Pacifists: can hide everywhere, deadly bloviating attack; unique unit: Unabomber
Cuban expats: can hide in the grassy knoll, excellent baseball skills, boozy
The Press: Untested faction, use at your own peril; can cause CTWs (Crash To Watergate)

I think that the OP's assumption about users on this site only apply to a small fraction overall. This is entirely unnecessary.

Honored one...I must disagree with your sentiments...War is something heinious and beyond comphrehension. peace is preferable at almost ALL costs....Every life is precious, but once blood has been shed a million aren't enough to satisfy the blood lust.

There is no war here. Being a soldier, I would think that you would recognize that the comparison, between petty (and most times, nonsensical and immature) feuding on an internet forum and war, falls terribly short.

Again, the circumstances that the OP describes only apply to a very small fraction of the forum's members. There are already systems in place to deal with those situations.

This may not be Total Peace Center, but I'm sure some members have it set as "Total Barbie Center."

As for the serious discussion of the OP, I would say that something like this is fantastically superfluous and would ass to the work-load of moderators everwhere... not to mention, where would you put it?
