Where exactly do you put downloaded maps? I tired placing the file in user/appdata/roaming/thecreative assembly/shogun2/maps. However, it does not seem to work.

Which file did you place in there? The extracted folder?

And do they show up in singleplayer custom battles?

No, the file after extract and no, they do not show up.

Well ithink theyre a whole bunch of files, so could be that the uploader made a mistake and didnt include all of them

There should be an entire folder full of files for one map. if you downloaded it form someone it should be in a folder in rar/zip file. the folder is what you want to put into the /maps folder. after that just reload shogun 2 and it will be there under the name the map_info.xml file indicates.

Actually it's the name of the folder that shows up in the map list. For custom battles at least.

Alright, thanks guys, finally figured it out. I thought I had to put the files in the "test" folder.

thats odd it shows up as whatever i put in the map_info.xml for the name.
