Historical RTW Vanilla v1.5

Re: HRTW Atropatene?

Atropatene is a great choice, I support it. But the roster would be very different.

You see, although the first king of Atropatene was Atropates, the Persian satrap of Media, it was not Persian, much less Parthian. Media Atropatene, as it is often known, was a mountainous and heavily forested area roughly corresponding with Azerbaijan (the real one, not the Soviet instituted state in caucasian Albania), thus limiting cavalry operations. It was populated by various Iranian peoples, mainly Medes. The "European" climate of Atropatene encouraged the development of excellent infantry and light cavalry, akin to Hyrcanians, Deylamis, Gilanis and Sogdians.

The Parthians inhabited Khorasan, a much more open and arid region

Here are 4 Bosporian Units:
- Millita Hoplites
- Hoplites
- Armored Hoplites
- Barbarin Archers {archer warband}

:shifty:

First of all, Good work SKull!

Few comments on Skulls units:
you used a Corinthean helmet for a elite hoplite. But these helmets were fare outdated with our time frame, and never used anymore, especially the nobles didn't used them. I suggest a Attic helmet instead.
The Greeks barely fought stripped, except the Gymnastikoi (nude skirmishers). Please give the militia hoplites some clothes.
And the Barb archers is too Getic/Germanic/Celtic. As the Bosphoros used scythians, i redone your archer:

PLEASE COMMENTS!
