I have recently noticed that it gives additional enjoyment to playing games when one tries to capture some beautiful or unusual sceneries within them. Or when something out of the ordinary happens and you manage to take a shot before the situation is over. And even further, when you specifically aim to catch some hard to time and point action shots.

I will most likely post pictures directly to the thread but also keep a directory in the beginning of the thread up in a way inspired by Derc.

Thank you Morty! I added some Far Cry 5 ones as well (I seem to have a tendency of keeping female followers

) and some not so serious GTA V pictures. I'll be updating the thread when I do further additions.

Wow. The Edith Finch ones are gorgeous! I can't help but think that game was designed to be eye candy.

Just a thought Sept, but when you add new pics, I'd add them to a new post and to the master directory at the top. At the very least, drop a message saying when you've edited the OP, because if you only edit the first message, then there is no indication that the thread has new material (e.g., I only noticed the Life is Strange and Firewatch photos because Mort commented on them, otherwise I wouldn't have known there was anything new). Just a thought though.

Yes, what you describe was my intention all along. I just didn't want to spam this thread until I get some more substantial additions. Now there is some new stuff. In the future, I will probably only upload things if they have some artistic merit or curiosity value.

EDIT: And I'll avoid cutscene content and, if I use any, mark it as such.

You made Crookback Bog look beautiful! That is a true accomplishment, to find a slice of purity in that cesspit of muck and blood. Color me very impressed!

Added some Far Cry 4 images that should illustrate well how stunningly beautiful the game is for a 2014 title. I think you should be able to follow the link to the original 4K image if you like to.

Added another Life is Strange picture. It is a gameplay picture but the unique visual style makes it look like a cutscene picture.

Wow. That is indeed a lovely set of imagery for a game that's now 8 years old!

Some pictures have been added for Far Cry 5, INSIDE, and Skyrim at least. Possibly some others. I'll try to get more substantial update soon.

Added pictures from my recent trip down the memory lane in GTA IV. It is a great game and can still look beautiful in its dark and colorless charm, although getting pretty shots is more difficult than in more recent games.

There are also a couple of new ones for Far Cry 5 and Skyrim.
