Hi,
I have logged the following error message:
[Universal Mod Launcher by Guan Ziyang - Copyright 2014] started on Sun 05/03/2015 12:57:07.94]
[12:57:07.94] ERROR - Medieval II installation (Medieval2.exe or Kingdoms.exe) was not detected in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\KingofRiverandHills...
[12:57:07.95] ENDING LOG...
However Kingdoms seems to run perfectly through steam. Some help would be much appreciated.
The mod\launcher is not in the correct folder. The path should be ...\Medieval II Total War\mods\my mod - did you duplicate the mods\my mod path like below? If so move it into the right folder position and adjust the desktop short cut accordingly.
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\KingofRiverandHills\mods\KingofRiverandHills
Thanks for your reply. I have adjusted the directory accordingly. However, after running the launcher the following error message was still logged:
[Universal Mod Launcher by Guan Ziyang - Copyright 2014] started on Sun 05/03/2015 14:05:23.87]
[14:05:23.87] ERROR - Medieval II installation (Medieval2.exe or Kingdoms.exe) was not detected in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\KingofRiverandHills\mods\KingofRiverandHills...

I think you misunderstood me - I assumed you had installed into a double path, not that you should do so.
Please copy here the full path to the launcher file that you use to start the mod. It should be here:
The path to the data folder of your mod's installation should be here:Code:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\KingofRiverandHills
If both is the case and either the Medieval2.exe or Kingdoms.exe file exists in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War folder then the game will start.Code:C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Medieval II Total War\mods\KingofRiverandHills\data
hello after having (good) how to install sought (and succeeded !!! ) mod Deus Lo Vult of steam when I start the game it will not launch a fullscreen. I'm having looked everywhere I can not find how to settle this problem. a solution ???
hhhheeeuuuu... or can I find this file? and what program should be used to open it? (I'm a noob computer )
From the opening post:
Both are compressed in 7zip archives. Programs like 7zip can extract these archives. (You can get 7-zip from here: http://www.7-zip.org/ or commandline equivalent p7zip from here: http://p7zip.sourceforge.net/ )
thanks you
hello the noob is back , I come back because I have a problem, I did as you told me, but when I opened the file I have not found the line borderless_window = 1 (I added by paper / paste) and the other line was indicated windows = false ??? I did not understand why elsewhere. despite that there is still no change the game always starts in reduced mode . help???
ok a thousand thanks
good I tested and it's still not working. any ideas because there I dry?
Other option:
Check the resolution of your desktop and write it down
Now open the CFG file and add the following to the [video] section (replace numbers with your desktop's resolution):
[video]
windowed = 1
borderless_window = 1
battle_resolution = 1920 1080
campaign_resolution = 1920 1080
I tested at the time ..... and still no change. I begin to think I'm cursed or null it depends
my destkop resolution: 1920*1080
the copy
