I'd suggest giving it a bit more time as quite a few people haven't voted and stuff. Maybe this should last a couple of days rather than just one?

If not then my choice of song is 3rd at the moment so I guess I'd be choosing the theme?

So if you want the choice to be made now then I suggest songs over 10 minutes as the theme. None of the songs in this round were that long so this should bring in a bit of change I think.

May I suggest to eliminate the highest and the lowest rating from the final score? Just like in the olympics, it would reduce the impact of bias. Ive seen songs rated 1, which is pretty ridiculous in my opinion. The guy either dont like the genre or lacks an open mind to accept different stuff from his tastes. Nothing personal.

Metallica came to my mind as well, with To Live is to Die (9:48) and ...And Justice for All (9:46).

I'm sorry but I don't know any metal which fits this criteria, if it was a progressive rock band, even if I dislike, I could name lots.

Edit: LOL Shame on me, I just remembered my favorite band has actually 5 songs over 10 minutes, which gives me a lot of trouble trying to decide which one is best, Symphony of Enchanted Lands, Queen of Dark Horizons, Gargoyles Angels of Darkness or The Mystic Prophecy of the Demon Knight.

Not being allowed to vote for your own entry would be much easier than removing the highest and lowest rating.
