{lebennin_guardsmen_descr}Gondorian guardsmen are levied militia troops whose main purpose is to defend the far flung outposts of their homeland. Though usually found in the less advanced territories of Gondor, they are prepared to defend any city during the absence of better trained and equipped troops. Technically, they can also be used to bolster the numbers of any active army. However, generals should note that these men are citizens first, and soldiers second. They will be overwhelmed by most regular army troops.
