I've put up an application thread for the newly created position of Censor.

Some notes about how I intend to implement this amendment:

    1) Until Censors have been elected, the sitting Magistrates will continue handling any Citizen disciplinary cases that come up over the next week or so, and will conclude said cases without Censor involvement. A few (~3) days before the election concludes any cases that come in will be held for the Censors.

    2) Since two Censors must be elected, the top two vote getters will be Censors. In order to space the terms out the requisite length, the second highest vote getter will only serve half a term (1 month 15 days).

    Feedback is welcome.

Do we have a usergroup/badges set up for the Censors?

I'll make a group for permissions when we appoint them. We don't have a badge for them yet, but I've PMed StealthFox to forward the request to our art guys. Username color I'm not sure about, but the Citizen color or the Magistrate color seem most sensible.

Pretty sure that's been removed, or it should be if it hasn't been yet.

I would suggest the Citizenship colour, so as to distinguish them from the Magistrates and Tribunes.

Was kind of hoping you'd post this.

Seems fine, that's what CdeC had.

I concur with the citizenship colour and would agree with said video.

Censors are the judges, so all judges should have the same color. (The badge should have the same color as the Magistrate).

Black is the colour of the Tribunal. Censores do not sit in the Tribunal. Therefore black should not be the colour of Censores in order that they must not be confused with judges of the Tribunal.

    This may be true, but,...
I think I have to wait for 3 months or something
In the Curia they play rough and I am fragile.

LOL Citizen, Civitates, Artifex, Magistrates, Tribune, Curator, Consillium de Civitates, Hexagon Council Administration. Also winner of certain site awards have a similar color to the Curator and one has a similar color to tech staff and Vault staff. And yet, Censors having black would be the proverbial straw that broke the camels back???

An an all seriousness, sense it is Curia position, then maybe Censors should have the same color as the Curator.

They should change anger site awards to green,.. I mean really, should one person have a monopoly on green. For me those awards are special and they should "stick out"

It may be somewhat similar, but it is not the same, the Curator's colour is different. Opifex, Phalera, Novus and Loins Cloth share the same colour (indigo), but not the Curator's colour (purple).

The colour code's purpose is to distinguish different groups of site "officials" or people honoured by the site one from another. Hence black is similar unfitting for Censores as, say, bold blue or bold red.

I agree that the Curator's colour, would make sense for the Censores; or the dark red of citizens. I wouldn't mind either of both since both would associate Censores with the Curia by colour.
