Lol, yes, that is an option. Alternatively, I could also add a disclaimer to the competition that competing in it means that you might have to provide your address if you win, unless of course you don't want the prize.

It would be so much easier if the winner could just receive a special medal for his account. But of course, our overlords would simply say . Perhaps if this year's competition goes well and has lots of participation, they might consider it.

This is an option. However, it just wouldn't feel right. I detest money competitions. After all, it's mainly for the funzies.

But many here do not have a special PO box or are too young to be able to get one. Which brings up a whole new issue: is it ok to ask for the address of a minor? It's probably best to just avoid this whole mess and figure out an alternative solution for a prize.
