Questions about battle camera (steam version)

Although I am a seasoned MTW 2 player, I still don't know if there is a way to imrpove the zoom in of the battle camera. I tried RTS and TotalWar camera alike, but both are stuck at the head of foot soldiers; I would like to move it down a little bit.Is there any setting that could do the trick ?

Moreover, I find that scrolling down for zooming with Totalwar camera is very very long, far more than with Rts camera, is there any reaosn for that ?

Isn't zooming bound to keys as well, eg numerical keypad: +/- ? That was very fast if memory serves. No idea about lowering the camera further.

With Totalwar camera zooming is bound to the Num / key+, it is indeed faster.
