There is an issue with the numerical sequence of quotes that can lead to a crash when a loading screen is starting up, eg after a battle.
Note for submods: For some mysterious reason the texture for the Novgorod banner symbol is missing in the SS base installation (the repack uses the Kievan symbol instead) which may cause submods to crash with the following error:
Code:
[system.io] [warning] open: mods/ss6.3/data/models_strat/textures/#banner_symbol_novgorod.tga is missing
[data.invalid] [error] Insufficient video memory to load requested texture set.
Re: Full install for Stainless Steel 6.4, Meloo Fix, Steam compatible
What about us few linux users? We cannot install the mod since its .exe and its specifically made with Windows in mind, is there any chance that you will upload the necessary files for us to install it manually without the .exe? i searched for the files but could not find them. Thanks

Banner Lord is a Mount&Blade version, why did you have to uninstall M2TW\Stainless Steel? Not that it has anything to do with the issue I think.
Yea it has nothing to do with the issue. This computer (newly built) doesn't have ss6.4 so I'm redownloading. I saw your quick fix page which is awesome as pre-installing ss6.4 was a nightmare. I'll follow that link to solve the issue.
Btw Bannerlord2 is fun but its too much of a grind atm. Not the biggest of fan when developers release games pre completion in order to drive some revenue/sales.
Saw someone post a Genoa campain win so I figured I would re-run a VHVH ss6.4 for fun. I've always wanted to win as Grand Dutchy of Kiev but its really tough.
Re: Full install for Stainless Steel 6.4, Meloo Fix, Steam compatible
Hi!, i have the common version of SS 6.4, and i think that this version could be better because it has the issues, so, i want to know if this version has the spanish translation, or i can paste our translation into the data folder of the mod, thanks for the futures replies.
Re: Full install for Stainless Steel 6.4, Meloo Fix, Steam compatible
This is a repack of the 6.4 version plus the Meloo Fix - you should have no problem pasting your translation into the data\text folder. I suggest you make a copy of the folder before doing so.

Thanks, I installed this using wineskin on my mac. The installation went well, all files were valid and I was able to start the game. But after just some random clicking the game suddenly crashes. It just shuts down. Any idea how I can debug this further?

I am afraid I have no idea about mac - but in windows you can get crashes when you click too much in the faction selection screen or go back and forth between menu pages.

Ah thanks :p That was indeed what I was doing. I was clicking a lot and fast in the campaign map to choose a faction (sometimes it crashed then already) and sometimes when I went to the custom battle option after that. I will start a Campaign game then to check how that works. I've removed my Wine installation and have used Mac Bootcamps to install a full Windows partition too and installed M2 + the Mod there.
Re: Full install for Stainless Steel 6.4, Meloo Fix, Steam compatible
For some reason Stainless Steel just refuses to believe that the kingdoms.exe is in the medieval 2 directory, I mean it's there, the steammodfixer bat from this confirms it, other mods certainly work. Very odd.
Edit: Nvm windows being odd running the kingdoms.exe with admin privileges.
