Chaos spread throughout the elven kingdom , as the forces of the shadow approached the borders of the forest of Doriath itself , Amon rudh had fallen in the last season , so fast that even news of its passing went unnoticed by many. Surprisingly ,still the dwarfs sent supply convoys up from the south , continuing their long friendship with the central forest kingdom, and all of its bountiful gifts where spent on upgrading Menegroth for a defensive siege and the rest spent on arms and armour, which was given to those elfs that had chosen to stand and fight. Day and Night the hammer rang out throughout the kingdom, as ordinary elfs, were given cursory armour and weaponry , many had not the experience of arms like the royal guard, but for those that were committed, there was training provided by certain experienced veterans who gave what training they could.




Talathardon , bent back his bow beading a line on the orcish spy which had penetrated the girdle, a thing that long along would not even occurred but due to the departure of Melian , a thing that seemed to be happening more and more these days, as these orcs spy seemed to appear like maggots or flies that were circling the meat that had a open wound. Holding his breath ,he then released his breath , letting the arrow go, and the arrow spend out into the forest, more than two hundred yards deep in the forest , burying itself deep in the orcs neck , felling it to the ground. Within minutes , the assassin was on the body checking it was finished, and it was...the orc had breathed its last prompting the assassin to wretch his arrow back with a twist pushing it though the beast and out the otherside for retrieval. With a curse that another arrow would need cleaning and checking, he searched the orc for orders or places it had to check on, but found nothing of relevance on its body. He dragged the orcs body back deeper into the forest, where it would lay undisturbed as it began to compost back to help the forest.

"One down, thousands more to go" ,muttered the assassin under his breath, his ears picking up another sound of twigs breaking on the forest path up ahead, he swung himself back into the forest canopy level, swatting on a large branch and observing what he could of the landscape.

Within a minute or two his sharp eyes found the intruder, a spiderkin spy , moved in the forest, not a mile away , moving slowly and carefully in the forest, and he had no idea of the elven assassin was in the locality. the assassin signed under his breath, with a comment that his work was never done, as he began to keep watch on the newcomer, preparing his knives for next season.

While wars raged in the north and east, and darkness crept across Beleriand, the shipwrights of the Falathrim were hard at work. As the grim tidings came in every day with the fleeing Elves and Men streaming into the Havens they were crafting ships greater than any before, hopefully capable of crossing the great sea. Now with hope fading they are ready to sail. If they could reach Valinor, perhaps the Valar could be convinced to save the Elves from their pitiful fate.

With the greatest Sindarin Kingdom under siege, Queen Melian fared west with her company, bearing a Silmaril. She boarded one of the great Falathrim ships on its maiden voyage. As the might of the Edain and Elves failed on every front, she perhaps represented the best, or hope for Beleriand. As the ship sailed west she watched eastward as the land began to shrink. She knew far away her husband stood alone, Doriath surrounded. The last strip of land sank below the horizon.

@Jadli I've got no problem to pass Gondolin on to Danny. So next turn het can start as Gondolin.
As for ending early. For me personally (the House of Nargothrond and Bëor) it's almost over so I don't really have an opinion either way.

Well, thats nice, but I think it will be better if it stays being subbed (taken over) by a RP based person, so one of you guys, as this is an instrumental faction for the last chapters of RP of this HS...

The dwarves were able to defeat 2 armies of the enemy, but at a great cost. Nevertheless for the first time in a long time they can breath and go on the offensive




The elves, gathered their army and attacked one enemy army that was in the forest, they were able to get a victory even if with losses.
BUT they saw another enemy army aproaching, and they knew they could not defeat it.... while the generals and most men retreated to the nearby city, some elves were too tiered and now are in the open field at the mercy of the enemy




The elven manpower is low, and many cities arent producing any warriors. The elves decided that the deep forsts, and caves, that were taken from the enemy are now slowly becoming more elven measured by an increase in culture. They are 4 cities overall, and barracks were ordered to be built. Hopefully soon it will produce some more men to send the the frontline.

The elves also spotted the balrogs approaching doriath, but they cant prevent them...

Several agent missions were conducted, which is the only hope they have of an advantage.

Either the elves are able to produce a strong army, or the best they can hope is to slowly delay the enemy....

The forces of the light desperately try to resist the dragons and drakes of the Dark Lord, however their fight is futile, as their forces are massacred and crushed in everyway, as the children of late Glaurung push forward and conquer. (The walls were so damaged at Argoth, that I could storm it.)
