Apologises for the delay, I thought the makedon player was dacia and awaited the reply from the wrong player!

Got the save today and subbed, save passed to the greeks.

With the arrival of the new season , the greeks marched out with ex-roman spies [now turned to the greeks faction] and a small military force was lead by the coastal roads to the town of Thermon on the coast which the romans had taken from the Macedonian people who were once their friends. The spies made short work of the timber doors to the town , allowing for the cavalry to ride in , supported by a company of velites. After a swift charge on the roman garrison , it was left to some hand to hand work , forcing the light cavalry of the greeks to retreat, as the greek javelinmen begun to thrown their own missiles into the enemy which had there backs to them.



Scores of romans fell , their bear skins , now turned to pin cushions as the greek javelins with long practice in the mountain ranges of Greece , delivered there deadly blows. Soon the greek cavalry returned with another charge, finally pinning the enemy garrison in place, as a host of javelins , began to drain the enemy garrison of mobile troops , as roman trooper after trooper received wounds or even deadly hits from those sharpened points , until the romans could take it no more , routing away from the enemy , and were trampled by the greek cavalry as they ran.



Thermon being a Macedonian city , not long captured, was returned to the Macedonian people , with a clever peace of diplomacy for the greeks , as the Macedonian people were a worthy but much reduced people , and they too , had a right to exist [and to hold the northern shoulder of the mountain range against barbarians and other incumbents that might otherwise threaten the greeks] and thus were the rights given back to them , for this town , for the price of a alliance ...
