Icon1 [Submod] Reformo Numidam - New Numidian Unification Reforms, Numidian civil war - Version 1.1 + (Alt economy, Agent redesign compatible versions)

    Hello Everyone,
So, I have been working on these reforms for more than two months. It was always my dream to create a new numidian reforms when I started modding and here it is. This mod aims to add a new unique Numidian/ Desert Unification Reforms for the Numidian faction - Masayeli and builds a path to it via the civil war event and also does various fixes to it. It also adds new Historical accurate Numidian temples which replaces the old VERY questionable arabian temples. If you don't have desert kingdom dlc, there is also a sub-submod of this which allows you to play with numidian reforms submod with massyli via all factions playable mod, check this link:
    https://www.twcenter.net/forums/show...ity-sub-submod

IMPORTANT: Go through 'Compatibility, Download links and Recommendations' section properly otherwise you will break your game. (Even if u watched the video below)

Big shout out to immersacholic who has created a great overview of this mod, if you don't want to read this all, you can Checkout his video (but still go through the installation and gallery section):

    Version 1.1 Changes
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
    Version 1.1 changes:

IMPORTANT: You have to reinstall the main mod and alt economy compatibility mod (if you are using it)
    Save gane compatible
    General:
    Fixed some text bugs
    Removed artillery ship
Removed the stamina text and the numidian horse text from
units (they have no effect and will just eat fps during battle)
Horses used by Numidian reformed noble Cavalry and Numidian Reformed Heavy Cavalry have now reduced speed (from 7.5 to 7)

    Unit specific changes:

    Numidian Camels:

Reduced their armour by 4 (from 22 to 18)
    Reduced Weapon quality
Reduced morale by 6 (from 46 to 40)
    Added 2 turn recruitment time
    + 1 ammunition (from 3 to 4)
    Very slightly decreased the price

    Carthraginian Hoplites:
Increased the price by 200 (from 1350 to now 1550)
    Increased unit upkeep
Increased morale by 7 (from 39 to 46)

    Cartho-Numidian archer and lancer:
    Reduced armour

    Numidian Reformed Heavy Cavalry:
Reduced ammo by 2 (from 2 to 0)

    Numidian Civil War
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The two main tribes of Numidia of the time period were the the Masaesyli and the Massyli. Both of these tribes were loyal to Carthage. However the two were bitter rivals. The civil war script tries to replicate the historical event during the second punic war (ik this is time of first punic war but Carthage will eventually fall to rome in dei soooo) when Scipio was approaching towards Carthage itself, The Massylian leader - Masinissa who wanted to break away from Carthage and gain independence, joined Scipio. Together they defeated Carthage and the very loyal Masaesyli and unified Numidia

So basically this will happen :
As soon as rome clears out epirus and Syracuse, it will eventually get into war with Carthage. With time, Massyli will declare it's independence and challenge you (20 to 35 turn generally). If they win, (they will generally win when you are not the Masaesyli faction) they will eventually become more loyal to the romans and eventually become their client state
However note that you can still rush Carthage and Massyli. In that case the vent won't trigger. You can unify other desert tribes and wait for Massyli to rebel.

    Numidian Unification Reform
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The requirements of the Reforms are :
    I) Get to turn 50
II) Atleast Paint the following part of the map with grey -

Global reforms will occur at turn 100
IMPORTANT:: You have to research the purple technology before the reform for the reform units to show up.

    The New Land/Naval Units
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The main reform grants the player access to 4 new units and reforms all of their cavalry with better equipment. The mod also adds 1 Marian reform unit (Check gallery for the unit looks)
These all units also get a new custom officer (also available in gallery)

    Cartho Numidian Archers
    Cartho Numidian Lancers
    Carthraginian Hoplites

These 3 units are based on the fact when Carthage fell, There was mass migration of punic nobles and the upper - middle class to numidian land, especially to Masaesyli. So the Numidians started adopting their techniques and started using these migrants as troops

    Libyan Heavy Chariots

Numidians, being in much close contact of Carthraginians gave up on chariots while almost all Libyan tribes (nobles) still preferred to use 4 horse Heavy Chariots. This unit is basically an adaptation of these Libyan nobles into the numidian army. (They have scythed chariot model but they aren't scythed chariots, simply heavy chariots)

    Post Marian Reforms:
    Numidian Late Camels
During the Marian time, camel breeding in Africa had begun although not yet used as War but their military usage was not that high

    Navy:
In terms of naval stuff, the most important thing they unlock is supply ship. Post reforms, u will be able to transport units on water. Another than that thye now get access to mid tier Carthaginian naval units, with carthraginian marine and marine archers, But at much higher cost

    Buildings
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The mod adds 4 New Historical temple chain which replaces the Arabian temples which they had for some very odd reason. It also adds a level 5 special monument temple as well. Also the temple of Baal Hamon and Tanit also spread punic culture so it makes the numidians kind of dual culture(Check the special link in the gallery section to see them)

I have also reskined their stables with an image of a light horse instead of a heavy armoured horse and some other text changes

    Other Changes
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
*New government types: Numidian had before the eastern government types: satrapal kingdom, centralised kingdom etc. But now they have tribal confideration, republic, kingdom and empire as options
*A completely New intro for the faction
*Fixed the flags inconsistence for the Masaesyli
    *Renamed Gaetulia to Mauri

Compatibility, Download links, Recommendations and Installation
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Place the main mod above dei and all other submods that you are using but below aaa and Orbis terraurm(if you use them)
The compatibility mods will go above the main mod

The mod is not compatible with script mods like testudo, or Ardua roma
