Saw Cloud Atlas and it was a 3 hour long mess. Holy it is so hard to understand and I'm not talking about the concepts. Best parts are the future Asian capitalist dictatorship and post-Apocalyptic Tom Hanks. The editing is pretty decent though cause it uses musltiple stories in flashbacks and flashforwards. Some of the stories were just so pointless with the rest of it so I don't get why they put it in there. I mean I'm not sure what the actual theme was, was it racism or something (discrimination)? But even then some of those stories don't make sense if that is the overarching theme.

I don't think Jupiter Ascending has come out yet.
But Mila Kunis in a sci fi role? I'm a little concerned. Like she's not a bad actor when she wants to be but I only saw her in a serious role in Oz the Great and Powerful and honestly she was great in some scenes but could be way better.

Yeah I hate to be pessimistic, but from the trailer that film really didn't look that great, and it seems like the kind of film that should.
