Moved to the Mod Workshop as this is a modding question. Core_attributes is only in descr_strat.txt if you have 1.3 or 1.5, and then they are at the bottom of the file. You can only have a permanent alliance by changing the seleucid section to look like this:
faction seleucid, balanced stalin
superfaction greek_cities
and you can only do this if you have 1.3 or 1.5.

Well, if you only have RTw and have only installed that you have 1.0, if you have installed BI you have 1.3, if you have gold edition you have 1.5.

All patchs can be downloaded off www.totalwar.com in the downloads section. If you don't have any I would download 1.3 and 1.5, as you can't install 1.5 without 1.3
thanks guys but,
are there like any bug fixs or better improved imperial campaigns?
can anyone pass me the link directing to the exactly page of download?
would appreciate that greatly!
To see which version you are running, go to the Options menu and check the upper right hand corner - it will show the version number there. For patches, go to the download section of www.totalwar.com.

guys which patch should i download?
i have a Rome:TW version and there are patches like v1.3, 1.5 and version:ALEXANDER.
do i download all of them?
wat about barbarian invasion? can that too be compatitable with Rome TW?
You need to download 1.3 and 1.5, Barbarian Invasion is an expansion pack, you need to buy it before you can install the patches for it. Alexander isn't even out yet.

It's time to edit, oh friend, tell me please, I know that the message is from 2006, but you should still know something about the game :sí:
