Anyone else expecienced the supposed bugs that Flo78 reported about the balrog and the trolls?
Because I double checked it right now and everything seems fine here.
Playing sylvans, crash at my first battle, against great spiders.
I thought they were still here because they would be unbugged...
As a 'submod' which wants to remove TA bugs, spiders should be removed by AlternativePatch for some strong bandits instead.

My small products here.
Spiders, with Wolves and Ents are notorious for causing crashes in battle. Everything based on an elephant model can cause crashes. A part of the players never encounter any problem with this while another part always has to deal with it. It's so bad that the DCI:LA team (specifically Withwnar) added an option to remove those units from the game and stop the recruitment while playing and also an option to re-enable the recruitment at will.
As far as I know nobody has been able to determine why exactly this happens.
I started a thread about this in 2015 which can be found HERE. If anybody wants to discuss this issue, that thread would be the place to do it.

Hello everyone, my first post but I'm reading the forum for many years.
First of all thank you leo for your awesome work.
In case of bugs, I had similar like Flo78:
- invisible Balrog after he sallied out of West Moria
- undescribed unit for Mordor (trolls)
Mod is installed on clean TATW 3.2
In my submod, this is not a regular unit.
Those 3d troll models belong to Sauron's bodyguard, not to a recruitable unit.
Whats the context of this picture? Because it makes no sense for me.
EDIT: OK, I found it. This picture shows sauron's bodyguards, and now I think sauron himself is not appearing here because he has the same bug of the invisible balrog.
Anyway the text description was missing, as well as the unit info image. FIXED.
Having a lot of fun with this mod but I encountered an odd bug when fighting in Erebor. One of those pop up rebel armies attacked me but in the battle neither side could cross the bridge leading to the gate. Anyone else experience this?
Also on an entirely different note I fancied changing the Dwarven bodyguard unit to Iron Guard, this worked perfectly for new generals. However trying to change the starting generals bodyguard units in the strat file results in me getting a "Please select an item from the list" message when trying to start a new campaign. Any advice would be fandabbydozy, thank you very much.
Oh well, guess it's just one of those random bugs which pop up now and then. Its hardly game breaking so i'm not too fussed.
Is it morally aceptable to implement a custom portrait of myself as a general in the game and give him an ancillary like "he comes from a distant land of palm trees and bright sun in the south..."
I just want to play myself as a Gondor general...
Geez... I could even create a custom 3d model of myself for the battlemap.
You guys better contain me now before I do this... I think I need to retire...
It is perfectly acceptable to make a custom portrait of yourself. "Leo the Mighty". I would recommending finding a chainmail coif, or a medieval looking helmet at a costume shop. I like your ancillary idea too. And why settle for just a custom general for just the battlemap? I think that Leo the Mighty needs his own Gondor strat map model as well. I think Callistonian could actually do both of them for you if you have never done that type of modding before.

A custom settlement named in my honor... with a huge statue of me myself standing in front of the mighty gates... and paintings of me in the walls. The entire Middle eEarth would love and fear me.
...
No... I must follow the wise one's wisdom and resist.
Its time to go back to modding, fixing bugs and adding lore stuff.
I'll diminish and go to the west, and remain Leo the modder...
