How can i reduce the number of rebel units produced/spawned by lets say 30%?? Also, how can i reduce the massive experience and attack/armor bonuses some of them get?

    Question: Can rebels attack settlements?

    Thanks

    BTW, great mod

You go to the descr_strat text file and near the top it will say something like "Brigand Spawn value- 60" or something like that, and I am pretty sure that you want to RAISE that number. I do not know about lowering their armour values and such, that might just be random. Yes, on the hard difficulties I have seen rebels attack settlements, but not in TE so far.

It'll say brigand_spawn_value right under the factions unplayable thing, in the C:\Program Files\Activison\Rome - Total War\Data\World\Maps\Campaign\Imperial Campaign\descr_strat file.

    The lower, the less rebels.

I thought it was higher the less rebels. Lower meant that they spawned more often. I really think I have heard that before.

The higher the number the lower the amount of rebels, i have already increased the number so it is less in my mod.

What about the strength of them? The units have about 4-9 experience in some settlements.

Look to the slave section at the bottom of descr_strat. I deliberately made the rebels strong to start with, so you could steamroll the map quickly. As it take slonger for you to expand, the ai gets stronger so the campaign is harder and better.

Oh, and on H/VH the rebels do attack settlements.
