New Successor!
Jacques II, Dauphin du France
Following the refusal of King Alphonse to the title of Dauphin of France, King Charles has gone down a much more radical road. Recognising the anicent Plantagenet claim to the French throne, he has named James III, Emperor of the Imperial Union, as the next king of France. He has promised he will grant nigh total de facto control of the Kingdom to the Conseuil de Roi of Marshal Petain, allowing France to remain independant. Viva La Roi!
