Re: For larger armies: Regiments become 4 battalions submod
Excellent work. My first couple battles I got my butt kicked - the huge number of infantry, cavalry, and artillery was too much at once for me. It's definitely more of a challenge!
Thanks!

There is no other way to use this mod without mod manager?

Re: For larger armies: Regiments become 4 battalions submod
i dont use modmanager,, just add this to your userscript,,,and save, change the year if your playing a later campaign,and dont forget to delete one of the upc files in the data folder.either1805,or the 1807, one
mod LME2_U_AI.pack;
mod LME2_Camp1805.pack;
mod LME2_graphics.pack;
mod LME2_0.pack;
below is my current userscript, with 3 extra mods and a 1812 campaign pack selected, for example,and the 1807 upc file in my data folder.
mod WolvesLME2_0Mod.pack;
mod LME2_U_AI.pack;
mod LME2_Camp1812.pack;
mod LME2_graphics.pack;
mod LME2_0.pack;
mod Corps_Cavalry_Reserve_Type1a_Global_Comp.pack;
mod French_Column_Unit_Release3.pack;
hope this helps you,

Re: For larger armies: Regiments become 4 battalions submod
"Follow these instructions http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=454565 to change your army size limit. Be sure to use ESF 1.4.5 or 1.4.6. I could not get 1.4.8 to work as have a few others."
As far as your script goes follow what the Highlander posted, it's working for him, I use Mod Manager. I don't know why you're getting vanilla country names, nothing in this mod affects names.

Re: For larger armies: Regiments become 4 battalions submod
Update, I'm using 50 units per army now with unit size at about 200 for foot, 100 for cavalry. I generally deploy about 6-8 artillery batteries, 8-12 cavalry squadrons and 26-30 battalions of foot. Looks better with more troops in action and I'm getting ebb and flow, charges and regroups by the AI. I like how it's slightly changed the campaign dynamic too.

Re: For larger armies: Regiments become 4 battalions submod
I agree. After upping the number for unit size and units per army, I'm experiencing defeats, as the ai seems to be better. I'm not as good as I thought I was.

Re: For larger armies: Regiments become 4 battalions submod
Wolves, This is great stuff. My first battle with my shiny new 40 stack army was absolutely trashed by the Dutch. Took my eye off the ball for a second and my whole right flank collapsed. I managed to win in the end but my campaign in the Netherlands was well and truely over and I returned home with a humbled army and a bloody nose. This definately requires a new way of thinking.

Re: For larger armies: Regiments become 4 battalions submod
It sounds good but i need you to clear some things about this mod .When i press to get a fussilier i will get extra 4 ones named for e.x. 4 reg.1st batalion and so on,or i have to recrute 4 of them to get 4 batalion to form a regimend?
p.s if the first it will be a dream come true.

Re: For larger armies: Regiments become 4 battalions submod
By the way, how is everyone coping with not being able to see all the units on the UI?
I tried a mod for smaller unit cards but couldn't get it to work.
