    Next campaign I'm going for ultra which pushes it up around 300 if I remember correctly, with 50 units per army, I'll be posting how it plays out.
    I've got a pretty good rig, I may push it on up some more using the script if I'm still not lagging with full stack battles.
    I'd love it if I could play near historical levels, it may not play as well or it might just be awesome, worth a try.

    Here are some historical numbers for an average battalion at Waterloo courtesy of http://napoleonistyka.atspace.com/Br..._WATERLOO.html:
    - 665 men / British infantry
    - 610 men / Prussian infantry
    - 520 men / King's German Legion
    - 520 men / French infantry
    Thus the average British battalion was stronger than
    its French counterpart by almost 150 muskets.
    Average squadron at Waterloo:
    - 145 men / Wellington's cavalry
    - 135 men / Napoleon's cavalry
    - 115 men / Blucher's cavalry
    Cool. Have you tried to increase the number of units you can recruit in each city at one time? kinda gets difficult when you are tryying to raise a full 40 stack army when you can only recruit 10 units at a time.

    Hi there Sir,
    I was wondering if you could help me. I am having trouble getting your mod to work. I am working on LME 2.0 so should be fine. I installed exactly the way you said. Downloaded it to the correct area (Steamapps, Napoleon, data) Loaded with Modmanager. The only differance I can find is that it is not listed above the LME files in Modmanager. I have tried editing the user script however to no avail. Everytime I load up Modmanager it is always listed below. I have tried uninstalling LME and reinstalling without the patch to 2.1 so I am still on 2.0 version.
    Once I did this I have used the ESF 1.4.6 (The recommended one) to edit the values. I have changed both values from 20 to 30 and saved the savegame. I have left all other values the same. I then go into the game, load up the save game but nothing has happened. All of the Elite units (92nd etc) are still greyed out and unavailable.
    I have also tried a new campaign and have the same problem.
    Could you possibly assist me in this matter as I have no idea how to get this working, and I would dearly love to. Many thanks Sir.

    How do I get this to work? Because you click the mod in the launcher and activate it, I thought that's all you need to do. Apparently not? So the Larger armies mod is activated but I can't have more than 20 units in one army, the AI too.

    As per the opening post in the thread you have to edit a save game to change the number of units. It seems clunky but it works!

    There is a link in the opening post to the instructions here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=454565

    You may also want to check out the mods for changing the user interface to cater for the extra units.
    May your Gods go with you.

    Excellent work. My first couple battles I got my butt kicked - the huge number of infantry, cavalry, and artillery was too much at once for me. It's definitely more of a challenge!

    Thanks!

    i dont use modmanager,, just add this to your userscript,,,and save, change the year if your playing a later campaign,and dont forget to delete one of the upc files in the data folder.either1805,or the 1807, one

    mod LME2_U_AI.pack;
    mod LME2_Camp1805.pack;
    mod LME2_graphics.pack;
    mod LME2_0.pack;

    below is my current userscript, with 3 extra mods and a 1812 campaign pack selected, for example,and the 1807 upc file in my data folder.

    mod WolvesLME2_0Mod.pack;
    mod LME2_U_AI.pack;
    mod LME2_Camp1812.pack;
    mod LME2_graphics.pack;
    mod LME2_0.pack;
    mod Corps_Cavalry_Reserve_Type1a_Global_Comp.pack;
    mod French_Column_Unit_Release3.pack;

    hope this helps you,

    "Follow these instructions http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=454565 to change your army size limit. Be sure to use ESF 1.4.5 or 1.4.6. I could not get 1.4.8 to work as have a few others."

    As far as your script goes follow what the Highlander posted, it's working for him, I use Mod Manager. I don't know why you're getting vanilla country names, nothing in this mod affects names.

    Update, I'm using 50 units per army now with unit size at about 200 for foot, 100 for cavalry. I generally deploy about 6-8 artillery batteries, 8-12 cavalry squadrons and 26-30 battalions of foot. Looks better with more troops in action and I'm getting ebb and flow, charges and regroups by the AI. I like how it's slightly changed the campaign dynamic too.

    I have to agree, why ca never let us know about this ,,beats me,, the game is now amazing, a battle is a real challenge now, and the ai is better , dont know why ,but it is,, anyway thanks wolves for your mod it adds so much to lme,, +rep again

    I agree. After upping the number for unit size and units per army, I'm experiencing defeats, as the ai seems to be better. I'm not as good as I thought I was.

    I don't think you will need to obtain permission from Swiss Halberdier to mod the LME AUM units as I already got permission to include AUM in LME from him. As long it's an LME submod you are good to go

    Cheers

    With these tweeks, 40 unit stacks, and LME, NTW is now an amazing experience. Thanks everyone!

    Wolves, This is great stuff. My first battle with my shiny new 40 stack army was absolutely trashed by the Dutch. Took my eye off the ball for a second and my whole right flank collapsed. I managed to win in the end but my campaign in the Netherlands was well and truely over and I returned home with a humbled army and a bloody nose. This definately requires a new way of thinking.

    It sounds good but i need you to clear some things about this mod .When i press to get a fussilier i will get extra 4 ones named for e.x. 4 reg.1st batalion and so on,or i have to recrute 4 of them to get 4 batalion to form a regimend?

    p.s if the first it will be a dream come true.

    By the way, how is everyone coping with not being able to see all the units on the UI?

    I tried a mod for smaller unit cards but couldn't get it to work.
