Divus was never meant to be on the same level as the other Large Awards.

While my opinion was different in the past, I have concluded that less is more. The site should go back to just one badge for citizenship, Civitates (If don't like the Roman style name, then Citizen. Keep it simple). I do see a need for a graduated scale of modding. Have a 1st degree, 2nd (Artifex), and third, Opifex. Done. We do not need any other large awards except one, Phalera.

You need to get the Curia out of the award business and do what it was meant to do; Award and reward members with a greater stake in the site.

But arguing that admins=staff and staff have Novus is still ignoring the finer details of Novus, Divus, and the different parts of staff and their medals. And I think I explained that difference in my last post adequately at least.

The fact that he can appear on the ballot after not logging in for a decade is just another example of the failure of TWC's institutions.

You cannot change what it is to something less than it was conceived, or you change what it is and cheapen those who were already awarded with it.

Divus ≠ Novus

This is illustrated by the difference in color. If you want to have an "admin specific" Large award to differentiate from non-admin staff members, then create one. Don't "pull down" Divus to do so. It isn't fair to those who earned the accolades to have their award "cheapened." The standard for it has already come down from where it started, so I suppose this is par for the course.

I'd be mildly surprised to see much contest in the era of multiple terms and the same very small group of interested users. You're the freshest face in the magistrate scene for some time as it is.
